CCC Introduction

Hello MHAA, as you may have seen previously Constructive Criticism Crew has a new team of people! So, as we grow as a team we wanna make sure we know everyone! As well as that everyone who in the future would like Constructive Criticism knows who we are in order to see where we stand in our experience, as well as a bit of background information on how we may have came to this point of our art, writing, editing, or cosplaying!

If you have no idea what Constructive Criticism Crew is or for short CCC, we are a group of creative community dedicated to supplying useful and constructive critiques and criticisms for a variety of creative works. Artists, writers, editors, and cosplayers.

Our group focuses on bringing helpful to content creators, in hopes of helping them be more confident in what they make and do. These critiques will never be made to harm someone’s creation, only to help improve. If you are sensitive about people commenting on your artwork, or style of writing I would suggest you not put the pressure on yourself of suddenly feeling like you need to do this because we say so. Different people may like different styles.

Can other in the chat :speech_balloon: give critiques?

Absolutely not, there would be no point of selecting individuals for the team. This also goes for ‘claiming posts’.

Can I ask for critiques that has nothing to do with BNHA?

Yes, but we can not guarantee that we’ll be able to answer it as well as we would a BNHA related critique. If its something like editing, or writing we could still give you some hefty critiques that could help! With Cosplays and Art: it could depend on the art-style as well as for the cosplay it could depend on the knowledge we know or what we search into. Everything IS a learning process.

Creative achievements:

• Art: 5 years

• Writing: 7 years

• Art: some art being put in a local art show!

• Writing: I won some small writing competition in my school!

Focuses while critiquing:

• Art: I’ll be focusing on anatomy and art composition!

• Writing: I’ll focus on grammar and hopefully how to improve writing style (if that makes sense)!

Fun Fact:

• I’ve had this same profile aesthetic since 2020.

Creative achievements:

• I’ve been writing for 5 years!

• My proudest accomplishment was having my work acknowledged and writing some short pieces for my school.

Focuses while critiquing:

• I’d hope to focus on grammer, readability and paragraphing

Fun Fact:

• I’m dyslexic! Though it doesn’t show much in my work directly on most occasions.

Creative achievements:

• 7 years in traditional art & 1 year in digital art.

• having my art tatooed on 3 different people.

Focuses while critiquing:

• I’ll probably focus on a mix of anatomy, pose creativity, and shading

Fun Fact:

• I’m ambidextrous I can draw with both hands :relieved:

Creative achievements:

• 6 years in Writing, 2 in Editing

• Writing my first poem was a great accomplishment because that’s where it all started.

Focuses while critiquing:

• grammar and characterization. As for edits, visual clutter and color usage

• I’m a trans girl🖤

Creative achievements:

• I’ve been drawing since childhood, though it’s been 6 years since I started doing it professionally.

• A Studio approached me with a significant project that took approximately a month to complete. Although it was challenging, my hard work paid off, and it became one of the most profitable commissions I have ever undertaken.

Focuses while critiquing:

• My focus will be on skillful execution of an art piece, while also showing respect for the artist’s individuality and goals. Additionally, I aim to provide that encourages and s the artist’s unique vision.

Fun Fact:

• I can speak 4 languages and I have a great ion for mathematics

Creative achievements:

•I have been actively writing for about 4 years now and I’ve been Editing for about 3 years.

• I would say my greatest creative accomplishment would be that I got to be inspired by others around me. I when I first started out, I would look at these absolutely stunning edits and I wanted to push myself so I could one day be that good as well. Same with writing stories, I wanted to create pieces that everyone can enjoy.

Focuses while critiquing:

•For writing, I would like to focus on the execution of the plot and how to keep readers hooked. I would also be focusing on sentence structure and grammar.

• In Editing, I would like to focus on how to combine different overlays, without it being to “busy”. I want to try and portray the true image without it being lost in the edit it self, which happens if to many things are added. I would also like to focus on color use.

Fun Fact:

• I am a professional dancer.

Lucas

Creative achievements:

• As of now, I’ve been doing Writing and Editing for a little over 5 years although I have took a break in between which is why I am currently picking back up the arts.

• In this Amino I could say my most creative accomplishment would be being able to work with minds alike. In this amino I find myself getting in touch with alot of creative people and the events to come is what will be my greatest accomplishment.

Focuses while critiquing:

• When it comes to critiques, when I look at writing I don’t worry about grammar. Its about the plot and how you build up your story, if I see something is not connecting I will do my best to guide people in the right direction to better understand and enjoy your story.

• When I look into Editing Critiques I mainly focus on the placement and maybe what you could do to adjust coloring methods or better coloring schemes. Everyone has a different style, and its important to me that I guide you to find that.

Fun Fact:

• A small fun fact but not really a fun fact.. is that if I your chat while you’re on VC sometimes I’ll give you coins if you ask. ACTUAL FUN-FACT: Im in drill team, as well as organizer of volunteer events for my college program.
