Krolva is a fortified town that serves as a key base of operations for the Survey Corps. Nestled near the edge of Wall Rose, it is strategically located close to large forested areas, providing an ideal staging ground for expeditions beyond the walls. The town has a practical, military-focused design with barracks, training grounds, and supply depots spread throughout. While it houses civilians, the town’s main purpose is to the operations of the Survey Corps.
Training Grounds:
Located just outside the main headquarters, these expansive fields and wooded areas are used for ODM gear practice, hand-to-hand combat, and teamwork exercises. A large wooden obstacle course challenges recruits to hone their skills.
Civilians’ Quarter:
Though smaller than the military areas, Krolva has a residential district where families of soldiers and local merchants live. Taverns, blacksmiths, and small shops cater to both civilians and soldiers.
Wall Rose Gate Station:
The gate station is heavily guarded, with both Garrison and Survey Corps soldiers working together to secure the town and monitor movements in and out of Wall Rose. It’s the launching point for expeditions.
The Eastern Woodlands:
A sprawling forest just outside the town, often used for training or smaller scouting missions. It’s also a natural barrier that slows down Titan movements toward the town. The forest is rumored to contain ruins or signs of previous battles.
Population:
Around 3,000 people, with a mix of civilians, Garrison soldiers, and Survey Corps . The town’s economy relies on supplying the military with weapons, food, and other essentials.
