So I’ve seen many post in different communities about this new “Hack System” and I’m here to address it.

What do I mean by fake?

I mean that these people are simply trolls and definitely not hackers. And also, that they can't get your information through the "magic code"

They are just trolls that want people to have a bad time and crash their app. Many posts out there keep informing communities that this are hacks and that they can steal your information with this and they can destroy your phone with it if you click it but non of that is true.

This are amateurs and bullies. Hacking requires knowledge of coding and software. This are simply harsh pranks.

Yes, it does it make amimo crash or freeze, but it's not the code what makes it crash. It's the size of the message.

And yes, you can prevent it by disabling the comments on your wall and the chat request. But this only prevents you from meeting new and potential friends. I personally don’t recommend it. What I do recommend is, if it crashes or freezes, close the app, restart the phone, enter Amino again and delete the chat or comment without opening it. That should solve your problem.

So don't worry, because these people are NOT hackers. They are just trolls. So please, DON’T spread the information wrong, if you want to spread the info, to explaim that what makes amino crash it's not the code, it's just the size of the message.

And to say that these are NOT hackers, these are just trolls that want to scare you a bit and make your app crash.

This information has been spread wrong and it’s causing unnecessary panic. Let’s try to prevent that.
