{Shoto's Lunch Table}

It was lunch time and Kai was sitting with the girls of the class today.

The dual haired male sighed for what seemed like hundredth time that day. He was sick of feeling this, he was sick how Kai made him feel.

Like his stomach would explode with butterflies everytime she smiles.

And her being his best friend made it worse. Everytime she says the word 'Best Friend' he feels his heart drop.

Shoto was so engrossed in his thoughts that he didn't even notice that he was staring at Kai. Again. Midoriya did though.

"Todoroki-kun, you are doing it again" Izuku whispered from his right.

Shoto shook his head as his looked back cold soba. Izuku Midoriya, Shoto's other best friend and the only person who knew about his crush, or so he thinks.

Izuku was the was the one who explained to him what this feeling was.

He feels the same when Uraraka is anywhere near him, he had explained, saying this with a blush.

The only other occupant of the table, Tenya Iida lookes at them, confused.

Izuku shook his head, indicating it nothing but Iida only narrowed his eyes and eyed the duo suspiciously.

{Kai's Lunch Table}

"Todoroki-kun is staring at you again Kai-kun." Momo said with wiggly eyebrow, Kai turned to look at her girl best friend, with a miniscule blush.

Momo grinned, she had noticed blush on kai's face, she totally ships both of them, along with mina and all of the girls of class 1-A.

All of the class 1-A know that Kai and Shoto like each other but are too afraid that they will ruin the relationship they had, if they said anything.

And it doen't help that both of them are new to this 'love' thing.

"No he's not." Kai mumbled trying to convince herself more than her friend. Momo sighed at her oblivious friend and decided to take matters in her own hands.

She just wants to see her friend happy.

Class 1-A will be having a discussion without Todoroki and Kiyomizu.

Also known as match-making.

~~~{Time skip to Last Class}~~~

"The school will be having a valantine prom, which I think is completly pointless. This event is formal so I expect you to dress accordingly." just as the monotonus voice of Shota Aizawa said this the class exploded into a excited chatter.

This made Kai groan. She was not good at dres. Just as this thought left her mind, she heared Mina squeal.

"Kai-kun us girls are dres together at Yaomomo's house, would you like to us?" Mina beamed. Kai almost felt bad for turning her down. Almost

"No, actu-"Kai started but was cut off.

"Of course, she would." Momo smirked, she had been planning on how to get Shoto and Kai together and she will make sure that Shoto's mouth hit the ground when he see her.

"Okay!" Mina smirked back at Momo catching on what she was doing.

Kai glared at Momo, suspicious of her behavior.

The bell rang indicating end of the school and shoto walked up to her. They usually walked together as their houses are on the same lane.

"Ready?" Shoto asked giving Kai a small smile that resulted in butterflies flying around her stomach.

"Almost." She replied putting two books inside her bag and slinging it over her shoulder.

"Okay come on lets go." Kai and Shoto walked out, they didn't realise they had been the first one and the only ones to walk out.

~~~With the rest of the class~~~

"Do all of us know why we are here?" Momo was in a positin that almost resembled the army commander.

"Yes Ma'am" the others shouted execept for Bakugou who let out a 'tch' and looked out of the window.

Momo smirked

{Shoto Todoroki's POV}

Kai and me left the school to make our way to the train station, where we take the same train.

It came as a shock to me when she told me that she lives in same neighborehood as me, but I am not complaining.

It gives me reasons to spend time wih her. Now, we do our homework together, train together , go on morning run together and we sometimes even have lunch at each other's houses.

"Hey, are you okay?" Kai asked me as she put a hand on my upper arm, she must have been saying something and I was far too engrosed in my thoughts to reply.

I gave her a small ressuring smile.

"Yes, I am fine Kai-kun, don't worry about me." I was so confused, why was she so red?

"but are you alright Kai-Kun? you are red." I put a hand on her forehead.

She was warm, warmer that usual.

"You also seem to have a bit of tempreture, you are definatly not fine." I didn't gave her time to answer as I put her on my back, giving her a 'piggyback ride'.

"N-no I am fine Sho, I promise I am alright" I gave her a look that clearly said that I refuse to belive her.

She huffed and let out a muffled fine. I silently laughed at her and saw her giving me a soft smile.

I am pretty sure that now I am bushing.
