Hello there! This community has grown a lot since the last time I posted something similar to this. That's amazing but also will cause more problems with the more people who don't read our guidelines. Hopefully this post will be helpful someway to people who still doN't cREdit.

☆Improperly Crediting☆

Oh my god, I can't even count how many people I see each day who do this.

Now we're getting somewhere.

Artists aren't just a stranger who have no name to you. Even the smallest of artists deserve credit! That's just a simple thing everyone should be able to learn in their life time spent on the internet.

Referring to an animation YouTuber called Katzun;

This has to be the one of the most annoying things an artist can experience.

Crediting an artist is literally the best way you can repost their work! Please never not credit the artist or even just don't say something like "my friend made this" or "credit to the original artist".

Who the hell is your friend thou? Who the hELl is the aRtist? What the fUCk are you dOiNg? Please never say you don't have time to credit an artist because yes you do.

☆Websites☆

There are so many websites and even apps that are able to help you find the artist of a piece of work. Tineye.com is one of the most used websites, it was made for literally finding the original artist of something. If Tineye isn't helpful, Google some things to help.

Reversing images on Google or using reverse.photos will be helpful as well! If you cannot find the artist by now, I sugget you either don't use the art or try other ways of finding the artist.

Tumblr and DeviantArt seem the like the easiest places to find the original artist if Tineye or other websites similar don't work.

This wiki here will be helpful way more than this post with how to find an artist of work you want to use.

☆Apps☆

Even if it doesn't seem like it, you'll need to credit the apps you use if you use something like Gacha Studios. Anime dress up games to avatar makers, they all need proper credit as well.

Why? Because you're not the artist of anything in the app. Someone did draw the things in apps like those so they'll need credit as well. Obviously you don't need exact names in situations like this.

There's legit a whole team to help the s with this kind of thing, uncredited artists. The CATR, Ca-Team Remake or Crediting Artists Team Remake is that team, click here to learn more about what this team is about.

s can't always be online or are able to catch uncredited posts right away, that's were the CATR comes in along with a lot of other teams.

I beg you to treat the of teams like this with respect. They work like a mod here and get harassed from time to time for doing their job.

All you gotta do is read the guidelines/rules and follow them:')

☆Punishments☆

That's it.

The more you post uncredited work the worse your punishment will get. For sure if you do that you'll get a warning and will be eventually be hidden for about a month or less if you do continue to post uncredited work. Of course the uncredited art post will be taken down as well.

If you don't want anything worse than a warning or even being hidden, find the artist. Be a good bean like I know you are.
