Ahh it’s my adorable Dongkyu’s birthday already? 🥺 Man has this year gone by too fast, I still the day when I was awaiting to write a section for him — an adorable cutie from one of the cutest groups ever: Spectrum. My journey with him and Spectrum has been a very interesting one to say the least. I can say for one thing though; this group has brought me to tears numerous of times. It’s an absolute privilege to be able to write this little sections for Dongkyu’s birthday. He truly is someone that I cherish, and I hope that through this letter that I will be able to express these mixed emotions thoroughly without being a complete mess. Where do I even begin with this adorable angel, words can’t even begin to express how much I cherish him. And how much I truly am so great full to have gotten to know him and Spectrum. Reminiscing of my encounter with him and Spectrum, it seems as if it was all yesterday. Maybe it’s because I want to relive that fantasy, but oh boy that day was surely one of the best days of my life for obvious reasons. With the song ‘Light it Up’ this is what allowed me to fall in love with this adorable cutie and his group. It was simply perfect, the song, the choreo, the visuals, what else could you ask for in such a music video? Exactly, you can’t. Anyways~ when I first got into the group, I don’t think I could stop talking about them for a certain time period, like I was this ongoing broken voice machine that replayed the same thing. Like, who would even want to stop talking about Dongkyu and Spectrum? They’re just cuties, like I’ve already said this but imma say it again cause it’s true 🥺 :heartbeat:

My heart is ready to burst any moment right now, because I get the pleasure of writing for Dongkyu and watching some videos of him again. Honestly Dongkyu in ‘SHOWTIME’ is simply one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen in my life. My thoughts were filled with the image of him and Spectrum, I believe these thoughts only confirm the love I have for them. I don’t know how many times I say these words ‘it’s complicated to explain’, the word love is a term that I throw around so easily and say nearly all the time. Yet, this 4 letter word is able to describe so much that I as a person can’t even begin to comprehend. I say it so aimlessly, it sounds to only be a clever word that can easily fill the void but I truly do mean it whenever I use this ‘term’. I don’t think people can understand what I mean, even as I am writing this letter dedicated to our adorable angel; Moon Dongkyu, I still am so confused on what this exhilarating feeling is. Should I say that I am immersed in the clouds of happiness or should I say that my heart feels so tight in my chest that it begins to hurt. Nothing could ever begin to compare the attributes that make me cherish everything about his existence. It seems so selfish to say such words, I sound so insane but, it’s what Dongkyu has made me become. How could I even question it. His smile is like the sunshine mounds that embrace those who are able to see it, his voice is like the airy clouds that dance around you and his love for his is just a rainbow bridge that seems never ending. The care, love and that is given from him to those he cares for is truly irable, and is only one factor that makes so many LANTANA to love him so much — to love him unconditionally.

His charms are incomparable, which should be sort of obvious at this very moment. It draws you in like a siren guiding you into their grove of secrets and mysteries. The voice then becomes a trance that you cannot break, as too as the love you begin to form when getting to know such an angel. Honestly, I do not know what else to say but that he is simply a blessing to all ! He has given us this eternal flame known as the gift of happiness, he and Spectrum have allowed many to find the end of what seems to be an endless dark tunnel. And for what they have done, I wish that Dongkyu will have a birthday so brilliant that it can equate to what he has given to us. Although I am still traumatised in a way to believe that I cannot see this group, to see Dongkyu perform on stage as one again, I do hope that with the lives they have, may they enjoy it to the fullest ! Dongkyu you truly are one of the purest angels known to many, and I only wish for you to be happy. Please stay safe and also . . . Happy birthday :heartbeat:

it feels like i'm about to write a letter to one of my best friends, and I guess it’s true in that sense considering how much I like you and respect you. I’ve been all over your newest projects and such so I wanna use this time to finally talk about how amazing they and you are :)

Normally when I start letters like this, I would talk about the artist’s music, but there’s something I’ve become a fan of that you also do; which is your podcast K-POP Daebak. The amount of love I have for this series is astounding. I never was a fan of podcasts because I just couldn’t enjoy listening to people talk I guess, with a conversation. But it started when I saw the one you did with Eric from The Boyz. It got recommended to me on YouTube and since I’m a fan of the group, I decided to check it out, and I really enjoyed listening to your interviews; I surprised myself. Since then, I’ve been watching the newest ones right up to the newest one which is when you interviewed Jay Park and DJ Wagon. It feels good listening to a english interview with korean artists, especially someone so knowledgeable like yourself who is in the kpop scene. You let your guests be super comfortable and relaxed with your laid back personality, and ease them into it. I like how you start off these days by asking how they came into the kpop scene, reminding us that they also started out as ordinary people who had to work for their dreams. How they auditioned, or even scouted and how they became to be the well known name that they are today. You also ask some in depth questions but not personal enough where it makes them uncomfortable. And it’s stuff we’re curious about too, like in Jay Park’s, you mentioned his retirement. Watching your interviews and listening somehow makes us feel included because it makes it seem you’re not even a celeb, but just an ordinary guy and I love that about you.

Going onto music! You’re also an artist and we must not forget that. Ngl, it was only recently I only started listening to you, because of a friend. She recommended the song Honestly! The song was made back in 2018, and I really like this one of yours. It sounds like a laid back song, and looking at the lyrics, it’s a break up song which is apparently something different then what you usually do. The MV is stunning, I found out it’s filmed all in Mexico, and you really did an amazing job showing how beautiful the country, or city is. The melody of this is bittersweet if that’s the appropriate word. It has a melody that’s sorta upbeat but still relaxed. Your voice is so soothing too. I really like how soft your vocals are in this song, and I’m unsure if your voice is like this in other songs? But I’d like to imagine it is. But I really enjoy this song of yours, and it’s cool to listen to like, one person sing instead of the numerous ones we usually listen to in kpop. I think solo artists like yourself should get as much love as the groups. This song is really good. The part I like the most about this song is near the end. It sounds like you have a lot of people singing along with you like a choir and stuff like that in songs I really like. It makes me think you bring people together in a song, even tho this one is about a breakup, but still really fun to hear :)

Eric, I’m so happy I’ve become a fan of yours over the past month. I love your music, your podcast, and everything else that you do. You’re such a hard working individual and I wanna thank you for everything that you do. I really hope people shower you with all the love you deserve today. Happy Birthday king :)

The name Madtown is a name that I truly hold so dear to my heart. I wish to say all that I can within this little section of mine dedicated to the adorable Heojun, as he truly deserves everything this world has to give. However with this jumbled mind of mine, I doubt that I would be able to even express the feelings that are contained for this precious man and the group he is in. I wish to say all these sweet words to him to all of my heart contents, yet at the same time I do not know how to even describe this everlasting euphoria that they had bestowed onto me. It’s hard to fathom any words, with this current state of mine, honestly I have a range of emotions. Although this day is supposed to be a day full of happiness and love for our adorable Heojun, I still am taken aback to believe that I cannot see him on stage again. Am I stuck in the past? Yes, that’s exactly what I am doing right now, however I don’t want this letter to be filled with just me missing Heojun on stage. I want this letter dedicated to him to praise all that he has done, a letter to display the overflowing love I have for him. As he was the one that showed me grace, his light and his warmth was a factor that allowed my day to become better. The storm clouds that once clouded these lonesome days were now being pulled away by a red shift and a blue shift of happiness known as Heojun was coming towards me. So before I go and sit in a corner crying my eyes out in relation to Madtown and Heojun, I’ll be rambling all about this adorable angel.

I first had discovered Heojun and Madtown in 2014 with the song ‘Yolo’, a song that legit is still one of my favourites from them. Everything about this one song had instantly captured my heart. The whole vibe and each of the showcasing their talents allowed this beautiful sensation to appear within this heart of mine. I was astonished, thinking of how lucky I was to discover a new gem. The lady of luck had blessed me with this new found love, a love that would soon drive me on this roller coaster of emotions. And then there was Heojun, a man that’s voice completely stole everything. Although he wasn’t quite my bias at the time, I’ll it . . . my bias list was a complete mess with him just wrecking everything. How could I not love such an adorable, talented man? It’s simply impossible to not be able to fall in love with him. Every action he had done, I ended up nearly falling in love with him even more than I already had. I kept falling into this endless pit of love, not knowing when it would end. As time had ed, it seemed that I couldn’t keep my eyes off him at all. The next following sequence of songs that Madtown has released caused my heart to just act in a way that seems so foreign. Every group and artist has this special charm to it that causes my heart to react in a different way, that includes Madtown and Heojun. The joy I had when watching their songs, and seeing Heojun smile is honestly pure bliss. Actually lemme take that back, Heojun is simply pure bliss 🥺 he’s just the cutest angel ever that makes me love him and I’m sure many other individuals as well would think the same. Also can we talk about ‘OMGT’ era Heojun, cause he literally attacked my heart so many times that I’ve lost count :sob: :heartbeat:

I so many vivid memories that were made when Heojun was still active as an idol. I still can him and his little antics with the group, like how’d he just dance around and become excited whenever. When he’d just care for his and show off his cute side whenever and wherever like- :heartbeat: Or whenever he’d sing a song with such emotion that you couldn’t even control yourself when upon hearing his voice. He is just someone that had blessed many who had known him or his name, Heojun was gifted with the art of performance who truly did a wonderful job when he was an active member of Madtown. I hope that whatever he is doing in this moment, he will enjoy it and stay safe. I honestly just want him to be happy always, and not just on this day. I want him to receive all the love that he deserves, all the that is needed to allow him to thrive on. This beautiful day is the day that this amazing man named Heo Jun graced this earth, and I hope with all my heart that this beautiful day known as his birthday will be a day where he receives everything that he wants.

The day has finally arrived to write a section for Park Hyungsik aka one of the cutest angels to exist ! 🥺 :heartbeat: I swear, the goddess of fate is really generous to allowing me to have the privilege to write a letter filled with enthusiasm and iration to this angel. Not only that, she has gifted me with the knowledge of this beautiful angel and his group, and for that I am eternally so grateful to have my fate intertwined with ZE:A. Words cannot express how much I adore this man, I cannot even fathom how ecstatic I am to write this little letter for his birthday. I feel as if I have immersed myself in the clouds and carry the dreams of others. I am floating in such a spectacular sensation, having a melting heart as it is inflamed because of him and the very essence of him. He is the very sun that warms, illumines and is a necessity within my life. I cannot even imagine how I could exist without him, he has driven me to the point of no return. I can’t say how every time I am able to see such a smiling face that I am able to feel a tingling feeling within this lowly heart of mine. I dare say that it would feel empty without him, Park Hyungsik, the light of many people’s worlds including mine has his birthday today. And though I do wish to say everything that I want to be contained in this small section dedicated to him, it isn’t as simple as I had originally thought. I am overwhelmed with such happiness to announce the love I have for him; to be able to appreciate this beautiful angels presence. I want to try to the best of my capabilities to be able to have a letter that is worthy to read. Although he may not read this, if I am still able to write to someone who gives me such immeasurable amounts of joy, then that would satisfy me.

I gave my heart to this angel and his group ever since I had encountered him, it was such a pleasant meeting yet so quick that it felt like time was ing by so quickly. It felt as if time was waiting for me to meet such a group and to feel such a warming feeling whenever I saw them all together. I was reduced to nothing, I was simply spellbound by the image of him and ZE:A. Such a quaint meeting shall never be forgotten, as I could never forget the day that I had fallen in love with him and with ZE:A. ‘Here I Am’ was its name, the name that caused this heart of mine to beat continuously for him and ZE:A. I do not even know what sparked such love, however, I am grateful that my heart had led to them. Leading me into a blissful state of happiness whenever I saw their name, and leading me into this journey with Hyungsik and ZE:A. Gosh, just reminiscing about the old times makes me feel old, yet at the same time I am not old. It gives me a rush of euphoria, thinking how I didn’t even know why I liked such a group. It took me a while to see why I liked them, there was no specific reason why, the answer was simple . . . I just loved them with my entire heart. I didn’t need to know the reason, all that needed to be done was just follow whatever I had felt at that very moment. Which had guided me into the position I am today, to become an everlasting ZE:A STYLE. As I followed the path to the land of dreams, I was able to witness such beautiful sights known as ZE:A’s comebacks. I was able to feel such happiness when I anticipated their comebacks such as ‘The Ghost of Wind’ and ‘Breathe’. I smiled like an idiot, ear from ear, as I listened to Hyungsik’s angelic voice bless my ears. A beautiful call that resonates with me, a beautiful sound that is a work of art. An art that should be appreciated by all.

He is a gift from heaven, someone who truly does deserve everything. Everything that he does is a work of art, in the gallery of his work, none of them is a blank canvas. Each painting has their own unique colours, images, and inspirations to them. It is filled with the charms of him that make everyone love and adore him every time that they are able to take a single glimpse at his masterpieces. I compose this letter to not only appreciate one single career that he holds, but also another that he is commonly known for — his acting career. Every character that is played by him, he simply is able to embody every aspect of their character that makes me sometimes forget he’s acting. It’s exquisite that he is able to cause the viewers to forget what is reality even more. He captivates you, every phrase spoken by him is a song birds sonnet that follows the trail of the wind. I cannot understand how he’s become someone that I love with my entire heart. I cannot believe that it’s been already 9 years that I have known him, and that I am still able to continue such a journey with this angel. In every field of art that he participates in, he is able to bring out the beauty that was already there to another level. Hyungsik is blessed with such talent that how can anyone not appreciate what is seen by the naked eye? I believe that there is nothing like his acting at all, I believe that he truly is someone that we do not deserve sometimes due to him being so exquisite in every way, shape and form. I beseech thee to send all the love to this angel. He is this adorable angel that melts the hearts of many with simply a glance. I gasp every time I am able to see it, though it has been 9 years my heart can never stay so calm around him. I adore him, I cherish him, I absolutely do love him and I wish all the best for him and his career. May he receive all the love in this world, because he truly does deserve it.

Happiest birthday to the vocalist and maknae of Ten Yard !! :tulip: ꕤ Ten Yard is honestly such an amazing vocal trio and I do hope more people check out their music :rabbit2: :bouquet:

While there isn’t much info about these boys or Jaeyoung in particular , they do have a few songs that are seriously worth a listen :speech_balloon: :hearts: Their discography consists of one music video titled Promise and the storyline even features former U-Kiss member Xander >< :two_hearts: This mv was so soothing and calming and I could just drown in Jaeyoung’s beautiful vocals .. The mv is mainly Xander and the other female actress , but a few scenes we get to see the boys singing and omg Jaeyoung is so mesmerizing :sob: 🦋 His high note towards the end had me !?:@:$; and honestly this man’s vocals should be heard by everyone 🤧⊹ While Ten Yard only releases bops , my definite favourite from them has to be this particular song because of it’s bright and sweet melody :cupid: :womans_hat: There seems to be no English title but the Korean title translates to ‘Oh! Miss” and so I’m guessing it’s about a loving message to a lady ?! There are English lyrics that go “You’re so sweet..” and overall it just give me such a comforting and warm feeling — I really get early 2000s Kdrama ost vibes from it too :thought_balloon: :rainbow: While there really isn’t much content to watch of Ten Yard I was able to find this cute video of Jaeyoung singing a quick 1 minute clip and wow his smile is sooo beautiful :no_mouth: :heartpulse: :heartpulse: His live vocals really do hit different and I’m just ughh what a talented guy ㅜㅡㅜ :lollipop:

Sadly it seems as if Ten Yard has been inactive not long after their debut in 2015 , but nevertheless I hope the are doing well and taking care of themselves :tangerine: :seedling: I wish Jaeyoung so much love and happiness and I hope he’s smiling brightly on his special day 𑁍 Happy Jaeyoung day !! :cake: :fish_cake:

i'm gonna be honest, i don't know much about boy groups in general, and i haven't heard many people talk about timez, but that only makes me more excited to discover more about them, because some talented beans can go unnoticed so easily and it's too bad they aren't as appreciated as they deserve to be :two_hearts: so maybe check them out if you have the time, because as i got to see, they're very talented indeed🥺 mao, by his birth name mao ruo yi, is celebrating his 25th birthday today, and he is the precious maknae of timez, aside from being their main rapper, lead dancer and vocalist! he's also an actor and his speciality is dancing~

timez is a korean-chinese boy group under superjet entertainment and cj e&m. they debuted in 2012, and they're still active to this day although they haven't had a comeback in some time. their latest song, awaken, is an absolute bop and i loved listening to it :cupid: the mv was so interesting and unique and their vocals were simply charming! another great song from them is hurray for idols, an adorable release with such a cute concept and choreo^^ now i would also like to mention young love, a bop people have been sleeping on for too long now! the mv is so funny and it fits their aesthetic so well it's crazyyyy :cupid: :revolving_hearts: :heartbeat: they have a few more amazing releases worth checking out, like how are you, but i think you would best get my enthusiasm if you checked them out for yourselves, and of course, if you would show our birthday boy some appreciation! :cupid:

happy birthday to cherry bullet's maknae, may ! i'm so glad to have picked her, since she shares the exact birthday, even the year, with my bestfriend owo. first of all, her visuals, are just stunning. like, can you imagine??? she's only sixteen like ?_;)@/@+#'@@ how the fuck does she look so mature and pretty :sob: :two_hearts: i still when she debuted, she was literally fourteen and already looking like a whole ass queen :worried: :worried: :worried: like ma'am, you're literally so young how the fuck do you manage to look like the prettiest person in the world :sob: :sob: :sob: let's be real we all looked like fetuses at fourteen and she's really out here being a queen :broken_heart: let's now talk about her dancing :smiley: she's honestly such a great and talented dancer, despite her age being so young, and all her being older, so i'm just glad that she isn't left out when it comes to talent, cuz she's just multitalented uwu. let's now talk about her owning every single stage in their group like ??? she always just does so well in live stages, especially their difficult choreography, which she perfectly executes pls :broken_heart: . if i had to pick my fave era from cherry bullet, it would honestly be hands up. this song, is such a banger, and it kinda blew them up a bit, so they aren't as underrated now as they used to be owo. her vocals are honestly also pretty good, like she isn't part of the vocal line, and she doesn't sing as much as their other , but she can definitely sing if given the chance, cuz please, he'll give his all just for it. he's just amazing, and i'm glad she had a great birthday owo.

Happy birthday to our adorable Minkyun!! :two_hearts:

MK might not be my bias, but from the moment I heard my first ONF song I knew that out of all , his voice was my favorite. And that song was obviously everyone's favorite (or it was back then), We must love, one of the most unique songs when it comes to production, music video, concept and everything really. Uniqueness is one of the reasons why I fell for ONF and until now they don't have a single song that's not special in one way or another. Then we have my favorite b-side, Ice and fire, and again MK's voice was just perfect for it. :sob: His voice is just so... warm, it's like a warm hug really, I can't find a better word to describe it. And he posts so many covers too, we can't complain about lack of content.

Seeing ONF in Road to kingdom helped me learn many things I didn't know or didn't notice before. First it's the way he dances and how charismatic he is on stage, and that happened during their Everybody performance. Since I adore their music videos so much, I haven't actually watched many of their stages but in RTK, I couldn't not notice how sharp his moves are all the time and how well coordinated he is. Then his expressions are always on point, he can look fierce now and adorable two seconds later; and all these while still singing perfectly, even live. The show also made me notice how much he teases Wyatt almost everytime they're talking to or about each other lmao. I love this boy so much and I feel like after that show, they became more popular and I see more people appreciating this cutie. That's what he deserves after all. :revolving_hearts:

Happy Birthday to Dayeon ! First I want to say please bear with me, this is going to be long, haha. Yeongyeong is the love of my life and I fell in love with her the exact moment I saw her on stage for the first time. It was more of a happy accident that I stumbled upon one of Neon Punch stages for their Debut "Moonlight" back in 2018. Dayeon was the first member to catch my eye with her breathtaking visuals, stable vocals and overall cute yet daring presence. Honestly, I was whipped and knew that I had to stan ! To this day, it was the best decision of my life as Neon Punch became so much more than just a group to me. I believe they were the first girlgroup I ever called my ults and they meant so much to me - for a while I basically considered them my second family. It broke my heart that even after having their comeback with "Tic Toc", which was an immense bop, they remained super underrated and people just continued to sleep on them. Each member they lost or that went on a hiatus, i think i cried each time. It still hurts thinking about it.

Neon Punch was my mental group and their disbandment in 2020 really hurt. I saw it coming due to their inactivity for quite some time and it saddened me seeing so much potential wasted. Especially Dayeon, who I had already ulted at the time; such an amazing vocalist, precious human being and amazing leader deserved to make it big in the industry and I'm still convinced we need more people like her. However, A100 Entertainment soon announced a sub unit to debut; Xum - consisting of Dayeon, Iaan & Baekah. I was super torn about this since at that point it wasn't clear whether or not Neon Punch would be disbanding or not. I think it's sad they couldn't continue as 5 but at the same time I'm glad these 3 girls got the opportunity to redebut as Xum ! I awaited this debut like nothing else and I was not disappointed; "Ddalala" slaps into eternity and through it, I was finally able to see my baby on stage again. Honestly, I had a whole deja vu of the moment I first saw her on stage, on her debut stage once again and I fell in love a second time. Being able to see the three of them living their ion is all i ever wanted and it makes me so happy to see they haven't lost any of their chemistry; they still act and feel like a family.

For Dayeon's special day, I really hope she knows how much I love her and that I'll always her, no matter what. She's such a light in my life and I'll always be grateful to have been able to meet her. Dayeon, who is always polite and thankful to everyone around her, who takes care of the younger as a leader and who isn't afraid to speak her mind. A brave and versatile woman who is standing strong in this cruel industry - she really deserves more attention for what she is doing and I hope that in this year of her life, Xum can make it big and everyone is able to see her shine bright. She really is one of the best people I never met and I am so in love with her whole being, her voice helps me sleep when I had a bad day, her smile becomes my sun when it's raining and ing her existence makes me believe the world isn't such a bad place after all. I really hope she has an amazing birthday because it's what she deserves. After all the hardships she had to encounter, it's only fair for her to have a day filled with joy and happiness. I love you, Dayeon. Stay happy and healthy, take care of yourself and be proud of who you have become. Happy Birthday !

NTB celebrated their two years since debut last May — yet they’ve released a total of three albums from 2016-2018 ^-^ It’s a shame they aren’t promoting as of right now , but for the meantime we can listen to their past songs :massage: 🏻‍♂ :star: Their debut song Dramatic is seriously so beautiful and soothing :heart_eyes_cat: 🏝 The scenery is gorgeous and I’m so in love with Hyobin’s sweet voice 🦋 :hearts: Hyobin gets a lot of lines here and I am just so entranced by his equally sweet visuals !! 𖧷 If you want to hear more from them , I also definitely recommend checking out some of their predebut releases such as Get Down and Step By Step that is more edm based and really powerful and upbeat :guitar: :sparkles: During one of NTB’s interviews — Hyobin said he really enjoyed more solemn songs , and then I found out he covered EXO’s My Answer and omg what a masterpiece :innocent: :thought_balloon: Hyobin sounds soo amazing and I swear he gives me Baekhyun vibes in this video. Hyobin also covered the Japanese song Rainy Blue by Tokunaga Hideaki and once again I’m so amazed 🥺 I also noticed what a big Japanese fanbase NTB has as they promoted in Japan for a long time and constantly post Japanese content :seedling: :hearts: Seems like Hyobin is somewhat fluent in it too and it’s so wonderful to see him interacting with so many international fans ! While NTB may not have had a comeback for awhile , they are still very active on their sns such as instagram and it’s great knowing they post so much content :octopus: :heartpulse: They are even pretty active on vlive but I think the reason they did not hold a birthday live for Hyobin is because he recently enlisted this month despite his young age !! manny is a very unique idol in my opinion, everything about him - from his talents to his overall self - is fresh and different. first and foremost, manny was the first muslim kpop idol which does make him a legend in my opinion. not only does his debut set precedent for more inclusivity in kpop, but i do think that although varsity has disbanded, his music can still be a beacon for muslim fans who can see themselves in him :heartpulse: manny is truly a sweet guy, he‘s always being cute towards his fans and you know what, i love to see it!! he always uses his platform to spread love and positivity :cherry_blossom:

I’ve been a kpop fan since 2015 — and Got7 was one of the first groups I learned of ! Only rookies at the time , yet their title songs were and still are so iconic and loved by many kpop fans :relieved: :thought_balloon: I immediately chose Yugyeom as my bias as he was just so funny and cute , not to forget his stunning visuals captured me :bouquet: :seedling: To this day he is still one of my favourite dancers and vocalists ( plus rap too like omg rapper Yugyeom is everything you’ve ever needed and more :star: ) !! One of my most favourite Got7 songs definitely has to be Home Run and omg let me tell you six years later and I’m still jamming to this song like there’s no tomorrow ! :heart_eyes: :kiss: I’ve watched the dance practice video more than 1000 times and I’m just so in love with the choreo !! Yugyeom looks so freakin cute and this dance suits him so well :tangerine: especially right at the chorus when Yugyeom’s front and center and they all just look like they’re having so much fun !! Sad to say , I sort of fell out with Got7 from 2018-2019 :sob: I kept up with their comebacks but I just never really felt that same connection as I did before. Happy birthday to our adorable Goopy ! 🥺 :heartbeat: my oh my, it’s quite rare for me to write for someone who’s discography I have yet to listen to all yet. It’s honestly so refreshing to find an artist who I do not completely know, as that would mean I will be able to venture everything I have missed all that time. I feel as if discovering new idols and artists is one of my greatest joys in life. This tingling sensation that appears whenever I am able to know the name of a named artist is truly splendid ! It’s fascinating to know that my music taste is broadening as I begin to discover new gems that have yet to be discovered by me. And I can proudly say that Goopy has also been added to the list. So to make things more clearer, I have known the name Goopy for a bit, though it’s regrettable to say that I never went further but to listen to a couple of songs before I drifted away from this jewel. It’s hard to believe that I would let such a memory drift away into this dark tunnel of forgetfulness. Never thinking to see another day again, as it aimlessly tries to find the exit so that it’s memory can be once again restored. Alas, that it finally did, after taking one single glimpse at Goopy’s name, the rush of memories flooded back. Making sure that I never forget, making me want to cling onto this jewel and never let him go at all. I wanted to curse at my forgetfulness for making me forget such an encounter, however, if not for screaming at it, I shall instead have the absolute privilege to be able to dedicate this section to Goopy. I want this letter to be filled with such love that it can make up for the times that I have missed. I want this beautiful jewel to have everything in the world, to stay safe and do whatever he loves. And through this letter, I will try to write until my hearts content to be able to display this newfound love for Goopy :heartbeat:

I can still vividly listening to ‘Downs featured SOLE’ for the first time and I just fell in love with these two immediately. Gosh, I was floating in this heaven and immersed myself in this inexplicable euphoria of harmonies. I was with the mounds of happiness, this inexplicable sound kept me in this incantation. A work of art I must say, a painting that is filled with such vivid colour that one cannot help but ire it. His voice is so calming, yet it has this hint of huskiness that it creates this beautiful tune. Accompanied by SOLE’s angelic vocals, and everything just seems to feel so right. It’s hard to believe that such a combination of sound and harmonises could even exist. I feel as if I am dreaming of this beautiful sound. Two such beautiful artists collaborating with one another to create such a masterpiece . . . I truly couldn’t ask for anything better than this. The calming music that uses what seems to be a slow deep house melody and accompanied with the sound of a guitar truly does make for a beautiful sound. It’s addicting honestly, it seems as if I cannot get enough of Goopy’s not SOLE’s voices. Gosh, before this turns into a whole review about this song, shall we ramble about his other pieces of work? Upon listening to one of his more recent releases which is ‘Like A Star’, it’s whole composition is different to the previous piece of music. Whilst ‘Downs’ was more of a slow tempoed song, ‘Like A Star’ is on the upbeat spectrum. It’s such a bright song to listen to, the guitar accompanying the electronic beats alongside Goopy’s voice is just perfection 🥺 with the occurrences of a piano note, the song is simply something that I could listen to continuously. Everything about its composition and Goopy makes this whole song a work of art, and every time I watch the music video I just can’t help but smile :heartbeat: The versatility in his voice is exquisite, you can always expect any song that he sings or participates in to be something so special. To be something that infatuates you with every time the song progresses.

Ahh not only is Goopy’s music just amazing in every way, shape and form, but can I also say that he truly is one of the cutest angels ever 🥺 :heartbeat: I watched one of his Q&A on Arirang Radio, and he is simply so precious ! The way he answers every question and just smiles most of the time makes my heart fall in love with him as time es by. He is like the early spring that emerges from the beautiful fountain of dreams, making those whose party’s intertwined with his be blessed with this glorious glowing sun that brightens anyone’s day with dark clouds of dread. I’ve gotten used to being able to experience such a feeling with many others, but, each feeling is quite different to one another. Such an immeasurable feeling to be bestowed on cannot be treated twice, in fact, each person who is able to give me such happiness that can be directed towards them and only them is special in their own right. This also includes Goopy. My emotions are like a roller coaster whenever I listen to his songs, and yet this angel is able to give me a single expression every time I see him — the expression of a smiling idiot. The audacity I had back then when my mind had become blank of the memory of him, having this blank canvas ready to be filled yet it hasn’t. Well that was until now, it has become filled with such colours that cannot be forgotten. Ethereal in colour; iration being bloomed, I have simply fallen in love with Goopy ! It truly has been such a privilege to be able to write for him. I have not only discovered a jewel, but also have found this new love that is only reserved for him. I hope he has a fantastic birthday today ! Once again happy birthday cutie 🥺 :heartbeat:

To be honest I've been waiting for Jinyoung's birthday because I believe this is my first time writing for him like... in an actual blog or post even. It's been a while since I started to actually stan and get to know B1A4, but I just never got a chance to do so until now. A few months ago, I can't say I was in a good place mentally, but between a few other artists, B1A4 and especially Jinyoung were my comfort and their music was my way to relax. I even made a playlist with all the songs Jinyoung composed and I still listen to it from time to time. I actually being surprised back then, when I saw that he composed so many songs and not only for them, but for other artists as well and some of them were songs I knew already for example "Deep blue eyes" or "Step by step".

I feel like I jumped over the important part which is how I even ended up stanning B1A4. Well first of all, of course I already knew about them but I just never got to listen to all their songs or even watch videos of them, other of the random ones I used to find in compilations which were rare, unfortunately (unfortunately for all of you who don't stan them 🧐). But then I started watching My first first love and I'm not gonna lie, I wasn't as interested in the plot as I was in Jinyoung's character. It was all super easy to predict, so I knew his heart will be broken (and so was mine), but it was a sweet series and probably one of my favorite kdramas. And this is how I became more interested in the group as well, and I started to learn more things about him: the fact that he is one of the best idol-producers out there, the fact that he has one of the best voices I ever heard and also the fact that he seems so different when he is with him , he smiles a lot when they're together and you can see how much he treasures them. I wouldn't be able to name one favorite song from them, however I can tell you that Solo Day is one of my favorite albums ever and he is the cutest in the music video.

I don't know what else I could say about him, I'm just so grateful that I got to know him and his group and even if he isn't in the same company with them anymore, I'm sure that they'll promote together again one day. And if you think what I'm thinking, this might be a good opportunity to get a Jinyoung solo album, finally. And maybe a main role in a drama because... no reason he just deserves it. He is one of the most talented boy I've ever seen and I wish him only the best things in this world :heart: Happy birthday again!!
