#SmashTheNews - Community Event

Hello everyone,

I'm your local writer, SASpIke, and in case you haven't heard, a lot has been going on in the Smash world and Smash Amino!

Introduction

---------------

For this event, you are going to pretend you are a news writer for Smash. You will be writing stories about anything you want. This is an abstract idea, so you can write about anything relating to Smash. You can event write about all 4 Smash games in one post. Maybe there was a huge major with each game, you can cover each of the events that went on there.

Make it any way you want!

Rules

-Make a Smash related post with some newsworthy Smash articles. Be creative with your stories. (Make sure it follows guidelines.)

-Create multiple news stories that you find interesting. It could be about a Melee God or 2 Smash 64 rivals. You can even include stuff about yourself.

-Create interesting headlines that would draw in a reader of the paper.

-Make up a story about Smash or write about the past. Not like my previous event. It should be a bit more realistic.

-Be creative!

-There will be a showcase on Wednesday, the 26th of July. If you need more time to post in order to make this deadline, please DM me so I know ahead of time. EDIT: I have changed the date for the deadline since so many people have requested extra time. The Showcase will be posted on Saturday/Sunday the 29th/30th. You DO NOT have to get your posts in by Wednesday to make the deadline for the Showcase.

ZeRo's Win Streak is Broken!

ZeRo just lost to Nairo in grand finals after his record of a 50+ tournament win streak. We interviewed ZeRo after his lost. He said, "Its just your opeeenion that I lost." Awkward silence ensued afterwards.

(It is recommended that you makes yours longer than this. :3)

Is SASpIke the Lamest on Smash Amino?!?!?!?!

Recent reports have confirmed that SASpIke has become an incredibly lame . Due to his recent and extreme blogging slow down, many have accused him of being very lame. I've even heard rumors that he will sometimes miss stuff in chats due to being tasked with something without notifying others that he is doing so.

I mean, just look at him. He doesn't even have a good PFP. (as of 6/14/17) Most of the most recent ones are just a fancy Link from BotW. Nothing special.

-Maybe include something from Evo, which just happened recently.

-Add puzzles and cartoons related to Smash to make it seem more like a newspaper.

-Vary content and talk about the past, current, or future of Smash. You don't have to talk about one Smash 4 and Melee tournament.

-You could make the new article an edit so you can design it more like an actual newspaper. You don't have to make every page, it can just be the front cover!

-Try and make it like a real newspaper. Maybe you can write with multiple authors as a tag team for this event! Newspaper can have different writing styles.

Ew I haven't blogged too much recently. I still need to recover from my deleted drafts. ;-; I just ed summer homework is a thing. Even more ew.
