𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐄𝐫𝐳𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐉𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐥’𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐠𝐨?

𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐲’𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫...

With my thinking capacity, this will be one hectic wedding. The both of them are not good at communicating their feelings. I have a feeling they’ll both perceive the day differently.

Erza will find this the biggest day of her entire life. Her groom being Jellal doesn’t change that fact. She must have it perfect. So that puts a lot of pressure on her to not mess up in any way. Her dress, her walking, and what she says to him have to be perfect. While she’s being walked down the aisle by Makarov, her face remains stoic and serious, but on the inside she’s so nervous.

Jellal finds this the biggest day of his entire life, and also his happiest as he finally gets to marry the girl of his dreams. No more excuses. No more running away. He can finally settle down and face the music after everything that has happened and everything he put her through. He’s owning up to his mistakes. He also feels a little nervous too, especially while waiting for Erza while he waits at the alter.

Now that she makes it to the alter, the priest starts making his speech, as all priests do. She remains looking as stoic and serious as ever, meanwhile he looks nervous. She looks at him and starts self doubting herself, thinking the worst that maybe he wants to back out. As the priest asks Erza if she wants to take Jellal as her lawfully wedded husband, she cuts in and starts yelling out a speech of how grateful she is of today. Everyone gets confused on why she started a speech in the middle of this. Jellal thinks that it’s her way of stalling instead of saying ‘I do’. Although it does try to reassure him on how special she is to him and how he shouldn’t screw it all up.

During the speech, Natsu from the audience yells out really loudly “JUST GET ON WITH IT ALREADY AND SAY I DO! OW- LUCY!”. It sort of ticked off Erza but he does have a point that she still has to say something to the priest. She tells the priest “I do”. Then when it’s Jellal’s turn, he stuttered saying “I do”. It kind of rubs off on her the wrong way.

The priest says that the husband may kiss the bride, which puts a lot more pressure on Jellal from not screwing it up. Meanwhile Erza tenses up, causing her face to look very scary looking. She knows how important this kiss is, as it’s correct that the groom kisses the bride. Now he’s terrified. Erza wonders what’s wrong, so as she thinks this’ll help, she grabs Jellal and pulls him closer to her to try to help him kiss her. She knows he can kiss her, what about that one time at the beach? Now he’s petrified and on the verge of ing out. Seeing as this is how it was, Erza should be the bigger man and try to kiss him, even though she’s also nervous.

Just as she takes the big step of trying to kiss him, Natsu interrupts as he runs up the aisle, “EWWWWWWW GROSS. Get a room you 2!”. Just then Erza turns her face to look at him, only this time she actually looks angry. She yells at Natsu “Natsu…don’t you dare ruin my big day….”. Just then she lets go of Jellal and makes her way towards Natsu, getting ready to beat him up, all of her fears leave as she’s now focused on fighting him. Seeing how scary Erza really is, he tries to make a run for it. But she manages to grab him, then pummel him with her fists. After she’s done fighting him, she goes back to the alter, only to find that Jellal actually ed out. She’s confused as to why, so then she starts crying thinking it’s all her fault.
