I am in an amusement park with my cousin. I'm too exhausted because of all those booths and rides that we had. Besides, the crowd isn't helping because of the claustrophobic feeling I get. It seems that I'm gonna collapse on the ground but I'm trying not to. My cousin grabbed my arm and said, "Let's go ride the roller coaster again!" She is still full of energy but here I am feeling drained. "I'm sorry but no. I'm so tired and we should go home right now." She looked at me and I can see the disappointment in her eyes. "If you wanna ride the roller coaster, you can just ride on your own and I'm gonna wait for you." I said to her while squeezing her hands. "Okay." She smiled at me and walked away, making her way to the roller coaster. After a few minutes, she came back and told me that the roller coaster is already close because there will be a fireworks display. My eyes lit up when she said that. I'm so obsessed with fireworks because of the euphoric feeling that it gives me. We searched for a good spot so that we can have a beautiful glimpse of the fireworks display. However, it wasn't easy because there are a lot of people. We walked for almost three minutes until we found a space that doesn't have much people in it. The fireworks display started. They're like shimmering stars in the sky. As they boomed in the sky, my heart is racing with excitement. Upon watching it, I temporarily forget about reality. The stress, problems and anxiety that I am experiencing. When the firework show has ended, my cousin told me that we should go home. We are walking and I realized that my infinity bracelet is missing. "Oh gosh! My bracelet is missing!" My cousin was shocked. "Oh no! There were a lot of people and..." I did not let her finish what she is saying because I shouted, "That bracelet is so important to me! My mom gave it to me for my 13th birthday! Besides it's exorbitant! I can't lose it!". I felt my tears streaming down my face. I did not even care about ruining my makeup. My cousin hugged me and we went home. Ten years later, I'm still thinking about it. I should forget about the bracelet but I don't know why I can't get over it. I am staring at the computer screen while playing with my fountain pen until my best friend appeared in front of me saying, "Hey!" I almost punched him. "You scared me!" He just giggled and asked me, "What were you thinking?" I retorted, "Not that important." My best friend grabbed my hand and said, "Aren't you hungry? Let's go eat lunch. The break will end in a few minutes." I actually have a crush on my best friend. No. It's not just that. I am falling in love with him. I just don't know how to say it to him. I don't have the courage to confess my feelings for him. What if the feeling isn't mutual? Besides, I'm afraid that our friendship will be ruined because of it. After eating lunch, he gave me a ticket. "I want you to come with me in that newly opened amusement park. The work in the office is stressing me out and I just want to hang out with you." It took a few seconds before I speak, "But I can't..." "Pretty please?" He looked at me with puppy eyes. "Okay.", I grinned. He hugged me and said, "Yay! Thank you so much! See you tomorrow!"

I was shocked when I saw him wearing a black ripped jeans because I am wearing the same. The only difference is that he is wearing a band shirt and I am wearing a crop top. We went on many booths and rides. I had so much fun with my best friend in the amusement park. The last ride that we had was on a carousel. I know that it's childish but I begged him to ride it because I missed riding on it. "You know what, I wish that the horses in that carousel are unicorns." He just laughed at what I said. We watched the firework show together and after that, we sat on a bench. He held my hand and said, "I've always been dying to tell you about this but I don't have the guts. I think this is the right time to say it. We've been best friends for eight years and every moment with you shined. You've been there for me through thick and thin. You bring out the best in me. You are beautiful inside and out. Every piece of you is perfect. Those are the reasons why I am falling in love you. You don't seem to notice it but I love you more than anything else." With those words he said, it took a while to sink in until I realized that he has the same feelings towards me. My best friend is falling in love with me. Before I could speak, he showed me an infinity bracelet that is exactly the same to the one I've lost ten years ago. He put it on me and while he was doing that, I am crying. He looked at me with worry in his eyes and asked me, "What's wrong? I'm gonna wait if..." "There's nothing wrong. This... this infinity bracelet... I lost it ten years ago... I thought that I'm not gonna find this again... Thank you so much... And the feeling is mutual. I love you too." I hugged him so tight and we stared at the beautiful stars in the sky.
