Designer Dens

Welcome to Designer Dens, a magazine completely dedicated to den decoration. Our team works hard to create dens, edits, and more every other week in order to make these bi-weekly posts. Stick around for our latest issue, that includes five dens, two additional activities, and a surprise towards the end of the post.

Our theme is Music Video Sets, where the decorators had the creative freedom to choose a scene from any music video and recreate it within Animal Jam. We have some magnificent decorations this week, so let's jump right into it!

Jumpsuit, Twenty One Pilots

King made a fantastic den that replicates the opening scene beautifully. The consistent nature elements and attention to detail really pops, especially the addition of the white horse! Overall, this den has many creative aspects and contains a lovely color scheme.

Roar, Katy Perry

Including a waterfall, draping willow trees, and tall grass, Frost made a great representation of the jungle theme in the music video. Everything meshes together, and so many different items were put into place. The tiger's lair hidden behind the green scenery was a brilliant way to complete the den!

Oh My!, Seventeen

Spotted managed to pull off a dazzling den, decorated with all non-member items! The pure white, fluffy clouds and towering backdrop scene is a major part of the video, which was captured perfectly. Something I found interesting was the table outside and what was used to have it all come together!

Fireflies, Owl City

Aslan did the bedroom area from her music video, Fireflies. Incorporated are so many additional details that give the den a really nice touch! She even got the disco light and keyboards, each in their rightful positions. Excellent job, Aslan!

Dark Horse, Katy Perry

Although a putting together a boat in decorating may be a big challenge, Phan did a stunning job! The large variety of items and the way she thought outside of the box is very impressive. I loved the sunset and the great attention to detail. A superb, detailed den!

Going out of your comfort zone is a phenomenal way to explore new sides of den decorating. It exercises your ability to think outside of the box, and possibly work with a limited amount of resources. Even if you may struggle to do so, use your motivation to get better, and you'll see how much you have improved!

Our final activity is a trivia game, Fact or Fiction. There are three statements, and you have to guess whether it is indeed a true fact, or false.

The music video for “See You Again” stands at the most viewed video on YouTube.

Katy Perry’s music video for Roar has over 2.5 billion views.

The video for Fireflies was released in the year of 2009.
