Redrawing Old Oc’s

So for those of you who didn’t know back when I was on here in 2016, I had my fair share of Oc’s. Four of them in particular I really vivid in my head: Lian Harper, Maya Quinn, Megan Winters and Kara Davidson (I think I also had some kind of supergirl and flash oc but I can’t them so...)

And I got bored one day and thought

‘Hey wouldn’t it be cool to redo all those cringe Oc’s? Make them interesting?’

So I did

I also edited in the original pictures I used for them in the corner, 2/4 of them actually being old art of mine

I’m actually really proud of these designs, much better than the originals

While I’m aware Lian is a canon character and doesn’t count as an Oc, I still feel like she technically is. When I created her our only view of her was small little clips in that one episode with Will and Jade

I aged her up big time and made her my own in a way

I trying to draw her a couple years ago but I could not for the life of me figure out how glasses worked and it looked garbage so I threw it out

Unfortunately I cannot for the life of me find where this picture came from, all my reverse image search comes up with is an adobe stock photo

Megan always has a spot in my heart, I wrote like a 5 page story about her 3 years ago

If I ever do bring her back into the light I’m probably gonna switch her backstory up a bit and change her personality big time

Ah yes Maya, yeah it’s been established that Joker and Harley are a severely toxic relationship and should never have a kid

So I threw Maya out the window and turned her into a competent different Oc, a Harlivy kid

She’s probably some kind of plant creature

I also wanted to give her something like Vitiligo but that didn’t really work out

Also my first time drawing a turtleneck

And last and probably least

Kara Davidson....

At the time the only hero backstory I knew was that of Dick Grayson and her backstory was literally just an alternate version of his, like original Jason Todd

God I being so proud of the original drawing when I first did it... I hate it. I mean at least her shirt follows gravity now????

Honestly out of these 4 I might actually bring Lian and Megan back into play eventually

But it’s not very likely
