From Outlaw to King - The daily life of a housekeeper

WE'RE BACK BABY!!

Though the Sawyer's residence was not her own, Autumn sometimes seemed to own the place. It felt as if she just loved to torment Lady Sawyer's son, in particular. Though she would then be swiftly punished for mistreating the Young Lord, neither of the noblemen seemed to mind much - she was still just a child, none the wiser to the rules of the world. She would learn to respect the upper classes as she became older.

Cydon, in the meantime, had taken a liking to tending to the small indoor plants that Lady Sawyer's late husband once liked to study.

...Well, truth be told, the Lady's husband was far from dead - in fact, he was very much alive and Cydon even knew him from around town. But after shaming her family and her ego as much as he had, the Lady simply preferred to pretend that he was dead. Who's to say if someday she would really hire someone to kill him.

Nadia went into labor fairly soon into their stay at the palace. She was 37 weeks pregnant when the contractions began and she asked for permission to retire early, only to concentrate in the peace of her own living quarters and prepare for the birth.

Cydon was also dismissed early in order to assist. He thought that the birth would take all night, just like Autumn's had, but it seemed to advance incredibly quickly

Nadia gave birth to a healthy baby boy, who was bigger and heavier than his sister had been at birth - and after all, their conditions had much improved since then. They named him Stephan.

A bouncing baby boy, Stephan was demanding and high . He needed to be with his parents all the time and they would take turn carrying him around the house while they took care of their daily chores

Though she was now supposed to be old enough to understand her little brother's needs, Autumn was very much not. It felt like she was barely being paid any attention

Well it didn't help that she was stuck in class with the nuns in the morning and had to do homework in the evening. Now she knew why the Young Lord was always so annoyed

Stephan grew healthy and happy, and with a roof over his head. And Cydon could only pray that he would never experience what he had.

This is a very small episode because I didn't play much, but I've been keeping tab of all the points Cydon and Nadia got for doing chores: Cydon has 23 and Nadia has 16, for a total of 39/150. Slowly but surely, we'll get there!
