What is the welcoming squad?-

To people who don’t know what the welcoming squad is,the welcoming squad is a group of people who have a job to welcome new to the amino. The squad has three groups called Ruins,Waterfall,and Hotlands. Which depending on what group you’re in,would tell you what days you’ll have to welcome people. All official have a title that say what group they’re in.

Why is this an issue?-

This an issue because some get confused if the new member was welcomed by an official member or not. Also impersonating and us is not something we take lightly. Welcoming people is a job that we applied for and if we all could welcome then there would be no need for a welcoming squad.

Can I still welcome newcomers?

I see no issue that people want to say “hi” or thank a member for following them but doing a welcome message like this

Is doing our job for us. So you can still send simple and short messages to newcomers.

Note;;This is my opinion and on Coffee’s(The leader of the WS) post about the WS it says to not welcome at all so you should probably listen to Coffee more than me. So DONT welcome people-

Closing Statement!-

In conclusion,don’t impersonate or do our job for us. We do work hard to do our job and doing it for us seems like we do it all for nothing. Welp that’s all I have to say,have a nice day!-
