Smoke

Gas is out

Lights are dim

Right then, I hear a shout

And then I grin.

I smile as I

Open my door

I look down at myself

And then at the floor

You think you can see me

But can you really?

Am I here clearly?

Or am I not trustworthy?

Everything fades as you cough

You hear a sudden, steady drop

And when you look to the ground

There's no body found

I'm lost within the smoke.

Im dying, oh I'm choking

Torture of the demon smoking

If I forgive you, am I trustworthy?

Or does that let me not get off freely?

I brainstorm, I brainstorm

Look, my mind's torn!

Half blind, half deaf

Right now is a good time for me to be d-

I'm weakening in the smoke

Of the the problems my body promotes

You must fight yourself

To stay at full health.

The more I struggle

The lighter I get,

That's when I realize

I let the smoke win.

I'm a goner,

From this sick smoke

There is no way out

This is not a joke.

If I can be saved,

And move on a day,

The smoke will end,

And I will stay awake.

Save each other from the smoke.

If they choke, I choke.

Help us,

We're broke.
