         Hi everyone !! Welcome to my first solo

          blog as a part of the #clcteam ! I’m so

          excited to present to you the first part of

          my new mini series: making solo debuts

          for CLC ! With each part of the series,

          I’ll give each member of CLC a title track,

          b side(s), & concept for their imaginary

          solo debut !! Today I’ll be creating solos

          for Seungyeon and Seunghee aka 2seung.

         I hope you enjoy reading my blog, and

𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐲𝐞𝐨𝐧

         ❦ title track - tail (꼬리) by sunmi

          For Seungyeon’s title track, I wanted to           

          choose a song that would appeal to her

          sexy side. Seungyeon is a fantastic dancer,   

          and the choreography for TAIL is one of

          my favorites !! It is sexy without being

          static, & I know Seungyeon would kill it.

          The dance requires a lot of energy, and a

          clean-cut dancer to pull it off. Seungyeon

          has proven herself to be a wonderful

          dancer, and a versatile one at that. Her

          personal style is apparent in every dance

          she does, no matter the genre. I would

          love to see what she could do with Sunmi’s

          choreography.

          Seungyeon’s vocal style is similar to

          Sunmi’s as well. Her voice in CLC’s No

          has the same energy as Tail. I literally love

          her vocal style sm !! Tail is within

          Seungyeon’s vocal range, but still exciting

          enough that she won’t get bored singing it.

          While CLC has done many concepts over

          the years, there haven’t been many that are

          close to Tail. It would be so lovely to see

          Seungyeon try her hand at this concept.           

          Seungyeon is known for her sexy and

          powerful stage energy, so I know she could

          do great things with this type of concept.

         ❦ b side - luce sicut stellae by chungha

         I wanted to give Seungyeon a more chill,

          relaxed b side. Luce Sicut Stellae is a

          boppy, light song to counter her

          heavy-hitting title track. I feel that

          Seungyeon could choreograph a cute

          dance to this song, and still sing beautifully.

          This is also one of my absolute favorite

          Chungha songs ever. It has a subtle Latin

          element, a catchy melody, and a sweet

          vocal pattern. Many of the song//dance

          covers Seungyeon does are to latin songs,

          so I wanted to find something with that

          energy for her b side. It is the perfect b

          side for Seungyeon’s solo debut, as it is

          something she can be comfortable in and

          can show off her skills as a musical artist.

         ❦ stage outfit

         For Seungyeon’s debut stage outfit, I was

          inspired by some of Sunmi’s previous Tail

          stages. A lot of the choreo is on the ground

         and requires a lot of movement, so I put her

          in these cute shorts with a chain detail on

          the front. I added a brown leather bustier

          as a fun detail, and to make the outfit more

          complex. Her top is cheetah print, and in

          a cut I’ve seen Seungyeon wear a lot. It is

          a tank-top esc piece, which allows her to

          move her arms easily. Her shoes are

          Versace Medusa heels. The golden

          embellishments are emblazoned with the

          head of Medusa, which I thought was really

          pretty. I kept her jewellery minimal, adding

          only golden cross earrings and a diamond

          choker. For her hairstyle, I wanted to pick

          something trendy, so I chose this balloon-

         braid style. I thought Seungyeon would

          look so cute in these. Her nails are cheetah

          print, keeping with the feline theme.

          Finally, her makeup is a subtle orange and

          brown color scheme, with some smoky

          brown eyeliner.

𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐞

         ❦ title track - better babe by taeyeon

         While scrolling through songs for

          seunghee’s title track, I wanted to choose

          something well-suited to her voice.

          Seunghee is known for her husky & deep

          vocals, so it it was only natural to pick a

          Taeyeon song. Better babe is such a

          powerful song. It has a dark vibe to it,

          emulating Amy Winehouse’s musical style.

          I pictured Seunghee belting this song out in

          a retro-style pub, almost like in a James

          Bond movie. She would be standing on the

          stage, a golden spotlight shining upon the

          her. There would be a live band beside her,

          adding drama to the set. All eyes would be

          on Seunghee as she poured her heart &

          soul into the performance. The lyrics would

          resonate across the room, nobody daring

          to look away. Cigarette smoke would twist

          and curl in the air, creating a mysterious

          effect. Seunghee is the only idol I know

          who could do this song justice, the same

          way Taeyeon does. This style of debut

          wouldn’t need much choreography, save

          for the swaying of her arms, or the tapping

          of her feet. This would allow Seunghee to

          really focus on her voice, and give her all

          every performance.

         ❦ b side - love again by baekhyun

         Sticking with the smooth r&b energy, I

          chose Love Again by Baekhyun as

          Seunghee’s b side. Anyone who knows me

          knows I’ve been obsessed with this Love

          Again since it came out. I literally had it on

          repeat for weeks !! I am deeply familiar with

          this song, therefore I had to choose it for

          Seunghee. Love Again reminds me of

          summer. I can almost smell the summer air

          when I listen to it. While it’s still a very hard-

         hitting song, it is light enough that it won’t

          overshadow her title track. The guitar &

          piano chords in the background are a direct

          contrast to the deep beat & vocals. It adds

          a different, unique element to what would

          normally be a very basic song. Again,

          Seunghee’s deep vocals would suit this

          song perfectly, just like Baek. I’d love to see

          what this song would sound like with her

          touch. Seunghee’s voice could bring this

          song to a new level.

         ❦ stage outfit

         Since there wouldn’t be much choreo to

          her songs, I wanted to focus more on

          fashion than function. My first item is a

          beautiful red Zac Posen dress. The bodice

          has this gorgeous bow-ruffle thingy that I

          literally loveeee. The skirt is a trumpet

          shape, which I thought was super elegant.

          I added matching red velvet gloves to make

          the lewk classier. The dress was my main

          focus of the outfit, so I kept everything else

          minimal. Her heels are a nude open toe

          style. Her necklace and earrings are Tiffany,

         and while they are very simple, they are

          stunning. Her hairstyle is a classic

          Hollywood curl do. I thought this would

          emulate the James Bond energy I was

          trying to channel. Her makeup is dark and

          smoky, but still rather neutral.
