Short Story Idea- Character Lineup

I want to start a short story involving a couple of my ocs, so I thought I’d introduce the ones I had in mind and explain what the story will be about!

Log-line: After Teal Pearl is revealed to be off color, how will her owner take to the news?

My plan: I’m planning on making this about 3 parts. In each part, I will write a short story while drawing a couple pictures of what I think would be important to emphasize or what I simply want to include.

Apatite: a high-class gem who was a successful General in the gem war. After there was no more need for her as a general, she was repurposed to be an executioner for off color gems. She has a generally dull, bored, and serious nature while in public. She tries to be polite, but hates her job so it’s hard for her sometimes

Teal Pearl: Apatite’s personal pearl. She was formed with only one eye, so she hid her eyes with her hair so as to avoid shattering. She is generally quiet and easily nervous

Painite: Apatite’s personal body guard. She is practically twice the size of apatite and, while loyal, is overly causal in speech. She is told to stay quiet in front of authority figures because of this, but due to her power and rarity of a gem soldier, not much would be done to her anyway. She is generally very cheerful and loves to laugh, but can get very serious at times.

Green Agate: one of the gems who tells Apatite of her daily duties as an executioner. She is the one who discovers that Teal Pearl is off color. She is uptight, doesn’t want to look bad, and follows the rules.
