A Cursed Innate Technique utilized by Jujutsu Sorcerer Takashi Mori.
The of this technique is able to absorb, direct, and imbue cursed energy into pre-existing objects. Each object is believed to contain a history that, when imbued, one can then access and see the memories and pasts of the objects, and what actions the previous owners' took while in possession of the object. One would gain knowledge of the maker, the s, and what has been done with it. Imbuing occurs at any form of direct with the item; if the item is a Cursed Tool, one would glean information regarding the owner's style of fighting, or, if applicable, the basic style of their Cursed Technique.
This is the Cursed Technique Lapse: Witness.
When an object is affected by this technique with sufficient and constant cursed energy, it can be utilized as a cursed tool for technique extensions (such as Takashi's rings or blade).

When he makes direct with an object, he is able to glean its history and replicate a certain skill that the owner possesses (such as, if he had an item from a physician, he could possess rudimentary medical knowledge for the period which he imbued and accessed the object). The longer he remains accessing the object, the more in-depth the skill will develop, and the longer he will possess it. If this object happens to be a Cursed Tool, he is able to glean understanding into the owner's usage/application of the object and cursed technique. It should be noted that he is not able to replicate Cursed Techniques, or thereby any extensions of techniques, with this ability.

When Takashi makes direct with an object, he is able to share its history and knowledge with another individual whom he is in with. This typically has no offensive applications, and is a mutual relationship between minds. The sharing may take form by way of visions that may influence the recipient's perception and senses of their environment. Done forcibly, however, this could cause disorientation.

In which direct allows him to tamper with the history of an object and "reverse" time, where he can then erase the history of an object. This would render a Cursed Tool temporarily less effective against him in regards to its effect (but not its physical damage). This has no physical impact on actual weapon strikes (such as sword-strikes, where the actual blade touches him, or any other such form of attack; attacks born from innate and inherited curse techniques may still damage him unless implemented directly through a cursed tool; if so, they would be diminished).

Per the requirements of his technique, Takashi must touch an individual with his bare hands in order to glean the history of the objects on their person. With this extension, any blank object (where "blank" = an object with no history, typically damaged or erased from natural causes, or as an effect of his "Reversed Arrow of Time") now acts as an extension of direct made with his hands; therefore, any made with blank objects on another person will allow him to see these histories as though he was touching them directly with his hands. However, histories gleaned this way may lack some clarity the more history that is viewed.
Takashi must be touching the blank object (any blank object functions with this technique, such as blade, a rock, or even a leaf [though this is hardly...efficient]), and the blank object must be touching the target at the same time. Takashi typically uses this extension in tandem with his wakizashi, a blade gifted to him by a family member, in close quarters where direct with his hands is more of a challenge. This enables him to fight with some element of range in cases where direct is a risk to life and limb, while simultaneously utilizing his technique to gain a competitive edge with knowledge.

With this technique, upon making direct with his target, he gains intimate knowledge of the information (uses, cursed technique forms, fighting styles) that it contains, and can create a web of connections between these histories, and those in the environment (such as his own). Following this, he can visualize the threads connecting histories (i.e., the web to people, objects, the environment). This will enhance his understanding of the environment, counter-attacks, and strategies, granting him a few seconds of foresight in the form of an apparition representing potential movements in the future. In doing so, he also gains enhanced agility and movement.
This is the opposite to his Domain Expansion: "River Lethe's Paradox," where the apparition represents the past.
Attacks that are faster than processing capabilities of senses, or otherwise sure-hit techniques, or techniques not naturally avoidable, will still hit appropriately.

An expansion on his Nullify technique, where by utilizing the maximum amount of cursed energy he can draw multiple, in-depth histories from different objects at the same time in the span of a few seconds, utilizing extensions such as "Intuitive Masquerade" alongside this. This allows him to develop varying skills simultaneously to grant him an advantage; to gain a more intimate and accurate knowledge about his opponents; and a larger breadth of experiences with which he can respond and defend in a fighting scenario. This cannot apply to multiple Cursed Tools at once given their nature; however, this will provide an intimate, all-encoming history of the Cursed Tool or Object, its effects, and any other history it may have pertaining to the owner in the span of a second.
This histories are still subject to the weaknesses as laid out below; however, corruption or degradation of the history, due to the high concentration of cursed energy, is limited initially. Using this move past a few seconds upsets this careful balance and will almost always entirely corrupt the histories as a result.

This is the 's Cursed Technique Reversal, in which their base technique, instead of being applied to themselves, is applied to others. As such, any individual that the makes with, they are able to force them into viewing the histories of any object on their person, on the 's person, or an object which this target is in with. Because of the target's vulnerability regarding comprehending divisive histories between people, the impact of these histories is enhanced. The individual is subject to enhanced weaknesses of the technique as stated below.
Most notably, if the history relayed to the individual is corrupted, this will cause physical impact (like a whiplash) and mental harm, inflicting intense, rapidly-changing, vicious visions. This mental division may render those affected immobilized.
If the target is subject to a history for a period of time (or, in the case of "Purge of Mnemosyne," a shortened but more effective period of time), then they will suffer depersonalization; where by creating such a conflict in the mind of the target's identity and the identity of the history (or histories), it will temporarily disturb the innate technique in the brain transcribed to that specific individual (as the brain would no longer recognize that individual as themself, but rather as that of the history). They would suffer a similar loss as technique burnout. The will experience this burnout; however, due to their increased handling of history, it will only affect the efficiency of drawing history and the usage of maximum techniques for this period of time.
It is unknown if this burnout effect can become permanent.
Those with strong mental fortitude may endure such onslaughts, though it is unknown if there persists any ill-effects following this.

In this domain, Takashi is able to view the basic history of any object present on an individual without direct ; however, the rest of his extension techniques still require .
This domain adheres to the principle of the River Lethe Paradox—where, in reversing time, one's unknown future must become their known past, and their known past must become their unknown future. This, in itself, is a contradiction. The Domain applies this principle in the following way: as their future becomes their past (and vice versa), this resulting contradiction means any attacks against any individual must be done towards their past self in order to inflict an effect. So, for example, a sorcerer is moving to the right; to attack them with a Cursed Technique, one must attack to where he has just been—in the past. Attacking the physical body will not result in true damage, as the body is technically in the future.
Those adept enough, or with Cursed Techniques that enhance their sight, will be able to discern a transparent ghost-like silhouette in the shape of the individual. This apparition designates what target to actually attack (the past self of the individual), and depending on the strength of the individual, can lag anywhere from 3 to 15 seconds behind the individual. (The stronger one is, the shorter the time that is delayed for this apparition to catch up in mimicry of their sorcerer's moves; Special Grades are automatically at 3 seconds; Grade 1 4-7, Grade 2 8-11, Grade 3 12-14, Grade 4, 15. If needed, a number will be rolled within the ranges for the opponent's grade to determine the lag in seconds. Takashi, with this being his domain, has a lag of 1 second). When an apparition catches up with the sorcerer, the technique or attack will function as normal. The apparition must catch up completely (I.E. completely re with the individual) for an attack to take effect on the physical body. Thus, any attack forms, technique motions, or signs must be held and not broken until the mimic catches up, and thus the energy flows and the move takes effect. Every sorcerer or spirit is subjected to this with no exceptions. Both physical and cursed techniques suffer this requirement.
Should a Cursed Tool be affected by Reversed Arrow of Time prior to entering this domain, its effect will be nullified until the domain has been ended or escaped. This is due to the domain's requirement. Because inverting an object's future with a non-existent past means the object has no future (and therefore no present), it cannot exist in this microcosm within the domain.

A of this Cursed Technique runs the risk of many vulnerabilities. In addition to having no elements of physical enhancement (beyond what cursed energy already allots alongside his Vow), s have chances to experience the following aspects:
*It should be noted that this ability does not read minds or thoughts at the time of viewing an object’s history. It only views the actions taken by the individual, and senses emotions. It does also not include the ability to influence what occurs in the histories; one is simply an observer.*
Depersonalization
The idea that the memories of his objects are overtaking his own; a developing state where his thoughts and feelings do not feel as though they belong to himself. This results from accumulated use (and accelerated by overuse) of techniques. This may lead to a loss of self and identity, in which case he’ll be unable to use his technique at all (his view of himself as a separate individual from these others and their histories, and his connection to his identity, is essential to successfully drawing histories. If broken, so, too, is his technique). This would result in lack of memories regarding himself, and taking on various, fragmented personas from his collected histories.
This effect may pertain to any targets with which he shares an extensive length of history with, or forces a corrupted history upon (in which their memories would be disted, out of time and displaced with the corrupted history's experiences spliced into them, creating division and disunity in the mind, hence limiting the ability to use the Cursed Technique as it no longer may recognize the as a singular, distinct entity.)
Paranoia
He fears his own memories are not his, but rather another’s. This may lead to mental and emotional turmoil.
Required Basics
To temporarily use an ability from a history (see: Intuitive Masquerade), he must have a basic understanding that can then be enhanced (I.E., he can’t just become a master locksmith with no prior experience)
Exhaustion
A physical cost encoming thirst, hunger, tiredness, etc., where extensively using his abilities sometimes taxes his body
Empathy Fatigue
His ability to utilize and understand empathy has been hindered by his desensitization to the many facets of life; his remarks may come off as indifferent, or even rude at times, when he has no intention to do so.
Close
To use this technique, he must be touching an item, such as an accessory, piece of clothing, weapon, or anything of sentimental value the person has wore. He cannot use his technique without his hands. To avoid drawing histories unnecessarily, he wears suitable gloves most of the time. Additionally, when drawing a history, he is unable to break for its length (as decided by him, unless Time Dilation occurs). If not broken by his own volition, the history may start to corrupt.
Careful Handling
The longer an item is away from a person, the less potent of a history will be revealed. Upkeep to preserve histories is required; appearance plays a role in history integrity.
Mirroring
Spending too long viewing any one object’s or person’s history results in the unconscious adaptation of the individual’s habits, behaviors, personality or attitudes. Spending too long in a history may result in rapid Depersonalization or even an irreparable loss of his identity (and subsequent adoption of the history's).
High Sensitivity
While he may find himself stunted in fostering empathy, his sensitivity to history leads to him feeling heightened emotions of the individual when drawing a history. At times, it will be difficult for him to recognize these emotions as separate. They are felt intensely, as if they were exactly his own (such as anger, sadness, fear, panic, joy). This works in junction with Mirroring and Phantom Pain.
Phantom Pain
Much like Mirroring, any injuries the owner experiences while wearing an object will similarly be experienced by Takashi when he views its history; these continue to be felt afterwards to the same extent of time he’d experienced (if he watched a week of an individual limping, he now has a similar limp for a week). He is very careful with which he chooses to view on purpose.
Time Dilation
A trigger where many memories or histories are viewed in a moment. This poses an extreme risk for Mirroring and Phantom Pain, as the phantom injuries will accumulate in this shortened time. The more aggravated, or emotional he is, the more likely this is to occur. This can quickly lead to rapid depersonalization. This may also result the inability to recall personal memories for an amount of time.
Fortitude
Any objects tied to an individual with a strong mental state and stability will be seen as “blanks,” where they contain nothing to be viewed as it is blocked. Blanks are automatically drawn when attempting to draw a history from any curse with techniques that focus primarily on mental shields and protections (this is different from mental manipulation)—unless true consent is given.
Biological Barricade
Histories can never be drawn from a living entity; only the items they wear or have ed.
Privileged Priority
Commonly worn accessories, such as necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, hairpins, anklets, etc., have stronger, clearer histories when drawn than items such as clothing (which still possess histories, just less prominent views and much more vague). The more sentimentally attached to one an object is, the more powerful (and dangerous) the history is.)
Corruption
Where overuse of his techniques occur, Time Dilation, or intentional acceleration of an object’s history may lead to the history of an object being lost, fragmented, or corrupted (all of which indicating the item to then be unable to view). These items cannot be repaired (any further attempts to draw a history will be met with jarring, emotionally-rampant, and depleting visions that tax mind and body, and possibly influence rapid depersonalization). These must instead be either reforged, or replaced with a blank piece. Fragments of histories can also be corrupted surrounding a specific moment or person if a technique was used on them, around them, or on the object itself (melting, freezing, electrifying, etc.). Histories cannot be transferred object-to-object under any case; however, in cases of Takashi's extension techniques, this Corruption may be placed instead upon an individual should the right circumstances occur.
