The One Born to be a ruler

With the wails of the newly born child, the world seemed to come to a standstill. Every living being, every animal. Every god. They all seemed to stop dead in their tracks, listening. Some trembling in fear, The Jade Emperor himself was rather..unsettled. One of the representations of the first god, unsettled. At the feeling of the sheer power from a child. Knowing how similar that felt to when he fought sun wu kong for the first time, fear. The fear of death that shouldn’t effect him. How could he let this happen? So, devising a plan he set out at night. Kidnapping the baby from her house and having his minor gods burn her house down. From then on, the Jade Emperor was going to raise her as his own in an attempt to harness whatever this power was. Although, as she grew up so did the Jade Emperor’s parental instincts becoming more and more like a real father to his “adopted” daughter with her not knowing what truly happened to her real family.

Tempting fate

The Jade Emperor always kept a tapestry hidden in his room, behind the fancy curtains. There it displayed a monkey whom wielding a great Bo staff, the size of a massive pillar as it crashed through the palace walls. And behind the monkey was a girl. Holding up her self high and mighty, she bore a a striking resemblance to his “Daughter”. Which made him even more paranoid and as such, he became much more protective of her. Much more..sinister in a way. Fearing that one day, one of the minor gods may be betray him. He decided to kill off half of them and leave the other half behind, but sadly. He had overlooked the fact that it was the Monkey, sun wu kong whom was displayed in the tapestry. She had made friends with the Monkey King and so when it was time for the Monkey King to lead his assault on the Jade palace, she was escorted into a nearby village with her memories erased. All but one. The Jade Emperor burning her house down, the screams of her real parents. The pleas, the agony. The Rage. There, she would spend her time dwelling on these thoughts. Feeding off of her despair and anger. Once again, fate had dealt her a bad hand.

Freeing the Monkey King

The Jade Emperor had been victorious, temporarily immobilising the Monkey King as he went and sought out help from the god Buddha whom immediately kicked Wukong out from heaven and pinned him under a mountain. There he would remain for the next 500 years to think over his mistakes, each and every day She would go out to visit him under a disguise. Getting closer and closer to the Monkey King, one day. She asked him a very important question. In exchange for his freedom, he must take her as his disciple. Wukong was reluctant at first but quickly changed his mind, with a nod of approval from her she quite easily lifted the mountain up and tossed it to the side. A mountain not even the Monkey King himself could fully lift..just..casually tossed to the side. Wukong was rather surprised but per his agreement he took her in but that would also mean she had to keep his power in check. Seeking out the goddess of Mercy Guanyin, she bestowed the crown of obedience to the new disciple whom placed upon her new master’s head. This was to be used as a means to keep his power under control and would tighten around his head should he get out of control.

Journey to the west

After freeing her master from under the mountain, they made their way back to the Jade Emperor’s palace. With her causing a distraction by lifting the Palace up, causing it to shake therefore putting all the attention on the rumbling while Wukong snuck back into the Jade Emperor’s garden and stole all of the divine peaches before sneaking back out. After their mischievous act they feasted upon the divine peaches, each one having enough divine energy to grant someone eternal life forever. As if that wasn’t enough, the two raided the Underworld easily subduing the subordinates of the King of the Underworld. As the fierce battle between the Monkey King and his disciple and the King of the Underworld came to a conclusion, it was Wukong and his disciple whom emerged victorious. While wukong kept the King of the underworld pinned beneath his bo-staff, Areum went ahead and erased their names from the book of life and death therefore securing their immortality. They left the Underworld to continue their journey to India where they would engage Buddha in battle and with a plenty of casualties would emerge victorious again. On the moon, lay the Buddha’s corpse.

The Daughter of Muramasa

After that, they both returned to Wukong’s old home. The forest of the stone monkeys. There, they would continue their training upon the mountain on which the cracked primordial stone stood. During their training however, an interesting person had approached them. Wielding a mighty spear by his side, radiating death. Of divinity, monsters, man. This spear..was something that sent shivers to the brave disciple. The man identified himself as Cao Cao from the romance of the three kingdoms, he he requested that she him. To which he was promptly refused.

(TLDR; they engaged in battle, Wukong got defeated and sent with the dragon king Yu-Long into a different realm, Areum enraged beat the crap out of Cao Cao and sent him away)

Rage once again overtook her, but she promised her master that she wouldn’t let such emotions get the best of her and so she sat down and went into a deep state of meditation. For nine days and nights she sat unmoving. That was until another mysterious person, wearing a cloak and a large straw hat that covered her face. Was this a samurai? The disciple shook the thought away as the person approached the disciple prompting her to stand up and immediately rush them believing them to be an enemy. With a sharp but quick spinning roundhouse kick, she had attempted to take the person’s head.

“Re-Taekwondo: front Hoechook...”

The person had ducked. The blasphemy! The kick only grazed the person’s head and sent their hat flying off and revealing their lush straight white hair. She was spellbound they gazed up at her with their golden eyes, quicker than most she had encountered the person had drawn their sword. Intentional or not, the trajectory of the blade was way off narrowly missing her head and shoulder blade by an inch. The disciple had broken out in a cold sweat, was this..fear?

“Haha..first time I found a worthy opponent. Say, just who the hell are you?”

The girl turned her head to face the disciple.

“My name..is Emlyn. Muramasa’s Daughter.”

As if in response to this comment, the black blade by her the girl’s side glowed.

The disciple’s eyes widened. She had heard so much about the blacksmith, the cursed sword. How he sealed his soul into it, oh! It was a miracle. To even meet his daughter.

“My name is Areum Eun-ha! I’m Sun wukong’s disciple!”

The other girl Emlyn had offered a surprised reaction of her own.

Quickly, the disciple’s happy and cheerful mood died down.

“Sadly..if you wish to see master..he’s...currently not here...I don’t know where he is. I have been looking for him..Jaecheondaesong is missing..”

A loud laughter came from where the rock from which sun wu kong wa was born from. Both girls turned their heads to see who it was. Only to come face to face with that same man she had encountered earlier.

‘He was still here?’

The disciple narrowed her eyes. He was still wounded. His side was bleeding, his forehead covered in blood. He could barely stand, having to use that dangerous spear as a walking stick and yet he still dares to act arrogant with that laugh?

“Who...are you.”

The disciple turned her head over to face Muramasa’s daughter before a loud, clear answer was let out from the wounded man.

“My name..is Cao Cao.”
