test taking strategies

hello everyone! sorry for not ing

in a while, but now that I’m on summer

break I’ll be active more often! anywho,

I decided to share some test taking tips.

i always try to apply these tips on my

tests and i hope you do too!

if you’re not sure what the answer to a

question is, use the process of elimination.

go through each answer and see what ma-

kes more sense based on what you

already know.

instead of wasting time on that one ques-

tion, try to answer the questions you already

know. you never know if you will find the

answer hidden in another question or if the

answer will come back to you.

although you may not be able to

the answer to a question, try your best to

look back on all the things you learned that

relate to the topic. doing this may jog your

memory and help you find the answer.

know that’s it’s okay to guess during a test

as long as you’re taking an educated one! if

you do end up guessing, don’t feel guilty a-

bout it because at least you applied what

you knew beforehand to come up with your

answer - you never know, you may be

right! ;)

if you ever feel overwhelmed during a test,

take deep breaths to relax. calming yourself

down can result in you doing better on the

test because you can think clearer instead

of overwhelming your mind.

if your teacher allows you to, feel free to ask

questions to clarify and to lead you in the

right direction to find your answer.
