Hey there, survivors!

We welcome you back to Raccoon

City for a brand new event! The

original Resident Evil 1, Outbreak File 1,

and Operation Raccoon City all released

in March, so we figured that we’d take

you all on a nostalgia trip! Whether it be

some sort of time travel, alternate universe,

or other unworldly circumstance, time

seems to have reversed to the nightmare

that changed so many lives. September

30th, 1998. Raccoon City. The streets

are swarming with destruction, and any

hints of civilization are being snuffed out

by the second as time es.

Are you ready?

    ᴡʀɪᴛᴛᴇɴ ʙʏ ʜᴀʏᴅᴇɴ

Our prompt is simple – through art,

writing, edits, or whatever media you

choose, show us a scene of your favorite

characters returning to that fateful night!

This event is something that we’ve all been

incredibly excited about, as there’s so

many opportunities for creativity in this

prompt.

For example, you have the option of

sending a survivor back in time to relive

the nightmare (more trauma basically),

or placing a character who wasn’t in

Raccoon City to begin with in there!

Seeing someone like Jake Muller or

an adult Sherry Birkin having to face

down the monsters that their parents

created would be awesome, and that’s

just one of the opportunities you can

do with this.

    ᴡʀɪᴛᴛᴇɴ ʙʏ ᴅʀᴇᴡ

1) first and foremost, all entries

must follow the [guidelines]. if they

don't, your entry will be disqualified

and won't count toward the final vote.

2) the entries we're accepting are

art, writing, edits, and themes. however,

this is an open event—so you're free

to create whatever you'd like! just make

sure it follows all the rules.

3) creative entries need proof of being

made by you. this can include proof

shots or signatures. entries like art,

themes, edits, writing, etc. are

considered creative entries.

4) images you use should be credited

if they weren't made by you. sources

are important!

5) all entries need to be resident evil

themed. anything outside of the fandom

won’t be counted or considered for

the event.

6) you'll have roughly two weeks.

the event ends on the 31st, and winners

will be announced on april 1st. since

this is a bigger event, both the event

and mod teams will discuss the winners

instead of holding a community vote.

7) we’d like to think everyone has

the decency to avoid this, but we’ll

say it anyway: no plagiarism, no ai

entries, and no copying other

people’s work. this is strictly

prohibited. if we catch it, you'll be

disqualified immediately—no ifs, ands,

or buts. we expect everyone to

respect artists and bring their own

creations to life.
