January 2021: Capricorn

Hey there, my bujo set-up is ready and I am quite proud of it. The theme for this month is built around the zodiac sign Capricorn. Since those animals live in the mountains, I decided to make a mountain theme for January. Capricorns often have a stable character and a mountain is also very stable, he stands proud in the environment.

I really enjoy working with watercolours lately so I wanted to paint something for my cover page. I painted these mountains on a separate piece of paper so I could glue it in my notebook. It is best to start with the lightest colour and work your way to the darker colours.

Next to the cover page I made an informational page about the zodiac sign of this month. I wrote down well-known people, who are born unter the constellation of Capricorn. I have, of course, chosen people I know myself, otherwise it would be a bit stupid don't you think. I also wrote down a short list of positive and negative characteristics that come with the zodiac sign, not to confront anyone with it, just because I find it interesting.

My next spread is my monthly calendar. I used a simple layout with mountain decorations to go with the theme. I also made an expense tracker and a to do list on the side.

Next up is my habit and mood tracker. I got the ideas for these spreads on Pinterest and I will put the links to the post below.

I made a water tracker because I really need to drink more water. I left the space next to it blank to write a short review of the month. I write down what has gone good in the month and was difficult, I write down the books I have read and new music I discovered...

Lastly I premade some daily to do lists, I didn't put the date in yet so I can skip days if I want.
