What is Respect?

Respect, as defined here on PRA, boils down to how you act and treat other . Essentially, you should not be treating other s differently just because of their beliefs, attitude, appearance, situation, etc. Every member is deserving of your respect and kindness, reguardless of whether or not they treat you the same way.

Why is Respect Important?

In this community, it's important you be respectful to other because it helps create a good amino environment. Additionally, other are much more likely to listen to advice given respectfully than advice given disrespectfully. In a moderation sense, it makes moderating much harder for the staff if you are disrespectful towards them.

Consequences

Being disrespectful towards a or other community varies depending on the severity of the offense. In mild cases, the offender will be given a verbal or official warning. However, if the disrespect is severe the offender may be given a strike. If the behavior continues, the member in question will be banned.
