Artsy or minimalistic?
I trend towards more minimalist, but not in a perfectly structured clean looking way. Haha, no, that is definitely not my bujo. I don't add a whole lot of art or decoration to my pages. I have a dedicated artjournal so my bujo is not really a creative outlet for me. My monthly cover page is about the only Artsy part of my journal.

Walk-through of setting up the above page

I made a quick drawing on a piece of scrap paper. I've learned from experience that the dots in my journal do not hold up to a lot of erasing of construction lines.

To transfer the image to my bujo, I flipped it around and added some pignent to the back using a chalk pastel.

I then traced over my original drawing to imprint the linea.

It was very faint so I strengthened the lines. I did not have regular pencils at hand so I used a pastel for that as well. Mistake as you can see; I smudged it :pensive: but that's not the hugest of issues, I intended on painting it anyway.
Unfortunately I don't have process pics of the actual painting part, I tend to forget details like that while painting. The final piece waa meant look messy and scribbly. I used both watercolours and acrylic paint on it. Lines were done using Posca paint pens and there the silver text and lines are some glittery stickers I had laying around.
And here are a couple of my other pages for the month. As you can see, the level of artistic effort trails off very quickly.
