This is the first challenge I have ever participated in!

So, I started deg a Oracle Deck based on the Petit Lenormand. I used poster board, designed each depiction in pencil, and then traced my work in pen. So far this has been a four hour process and I am not even a quarter of the way finished! Also sidenote I am not an artist, so this has been difficult to find depictions that I have drawn that resonate with me and let's be honest- that I can be proud of when using the deck in front of others :wink: So I kept it really simple which turns out has been a very nice change from most oracles I have. It also has been symbolic that while Tarot goes very poetic and in depth and a single card can be an entire reading, this deck is very blunt and linear and to the point. Like my art due to my limited skills.

I have been a tarot reader for about twenty years now. I love all divination but cards, especially tarot, are my bag, baby. I have wanted a Lenormand oracle for quite some time so I figured, why not let's do this. I am also constructing a playing card deck, though it only entailed writing on them so this was more fitting. I will post in the future on the playing card deck.

To cleanse my decks, I prefer incense or putting oil very lightly on my hands and gently shuffling them. I have also left them out under a full moon but the two prior are my personal favorites. I really look forward to finishing and learning the unique language this style uses in divining.
