➴Confident

Nothing can hold Ru back. Never tell her the odds, because she will prove to you nothing controls her fate but her. She doesn’t allow herself to doubt or second-guess. Everything she says and does, she says and does with conviction. This makes her a bit of a natural leader; when there’s doubt and fear, you’ll find her leading the way.

➴Fearless

Coupled with Ru’s confidence is courage. Good luck making her so much as flinch. She’d meet anything head on, stare them right in the face, and send *them* running. She fancies herself rather edgy, and the mindset of never showing fear has stuck around. Now, she truly sees no reason to fear. She trusts her own abilities and skills to overcome any threat.

➴Ambitious

Ru isn’t content to just sit back and let others have all the glory. Any chance she gets to prove her worth, she’ll take it. She has plans to become a household name when it comes to pro heroes, and is willing to put in the work to get there. The people who know Ru well know that denying her what she wants is fruitless.

➴Dependable

If Ru makes a promise or tells you she’ll do something, she’ll do it. It may be on her own time, or by her own methods, but she doesn’t double-cross, lie, or betray. Her word is her bond. Any promises made with her, any secrets told in confidentiality, they’ll all be kept. She’s ionate about what she does, it’s undeniable, and she would never tarnish her reputation willingly.

Despite how cruel Ru can be, she has a charismatic side as well. She’s been known to make people of all varieties of humor laugh when they need a good pick-me-up. Jokes of all types occur to her naturally, she just usually decides not to share them unless the situation calls for it.

Ru plays by her own rules. She describes herself as chaotic lawful - she follows the rules, but the rules are determined by herself. If she’s given a task, she’ll do it the way *she* wants, not the way *you* expect. She often experiments with different methods, either for efficiency, entertainment, or just for the sake of experimenting. You also can’t count on her to follow any plan laid out for her.

Ru only cares for her own dreams and ambitions. If she decides to help another, chances are it’s to help herself farther down the line. She fights tooth and claw for her dreams, and expects others to do likewise. She has a very every-man-for-himself mindset when it comes to hero work. She has to prove her superiority, and she doesn’t see how she can do that if she’s so tangled up with others.

Ru will take any opportunity to prove she’s better than her peers. Challenging her to a competition is akin to making a promise with her; you can trust she’ll accept, no matter the challenge. Even if it’s something she has no prior experience in, she will train herself in preparation for the challenge. Similarly, she’ll often challenge others to tests of skill to prove her superiority.

Ru acts without allowing herself to double-guess. If she has a thought, she’ll follow it immediately. She may later lose interest in the thought and leave the train unfinished, but she’ll never hesitate to do whatever she pleases. Sometimes, she doesn’t even know why she’s doing something, just that she was wondering what would happen if she did.

Ru has no respect for others’ beliefs and opinions. She’ll say what she wants, damn the consequences. If somebody is upset by her, they don’t have to listen to or care about her opinions. Needless to say, this has lead to several arguments and grudges. She doesn’t care, and she’ll never learn her lesson. She knows she’s upsetting people, and she knows why it’s upsetting. She just doesn’t care.

Ru believes she’s superior to everybody around her, and she isn’t afraid to voice that opinion. She doesn’t care if others are harmed by her actions, words, or thoughts, because they are mere stepping stones on her own journey. She’s the main character who has to overcome every obstacle thrown her way.

➴Vicious

Ru has no mercy, not even for allies. If she disapproves of something, you can bet she’ll let you know in the most vicious way possible. Her words are venomous, filled with hate and condescension. She has no pity for others’ and their suffering. She believes suffering is a part of life, and crying about it only shows you can’t handle life.

➴Temperamental

It doesn’t take much to affect Ru’s mood. The smallest thing can make her snap, going into a blind rage. Similarly, the smallest word or action can calm her down, make her laugh, etc. She’s enigmatic, from what she does and says to how she responds to different stimuli. Most of the time, her rages don’t result in physical damage.

Since Ru plays by her own rules, they often conflict with society’s rules. She is extremely mischevious, pulling pranks and gags for entertainment. The pranks can range from trivial, almost unnoticeable things like putting a wood chip in somebody’s shoe, to something a bit more extreme like releasing a snake in the classroom.

Since Ru is so eager to prove her superiority, she’ll take anything as a challenge. She treats her peers and allies as opponents and competition. She lashes out at everything that could possibly be misinterpreted as criticism or disapproval. She’s very emotionally unstable, and always seems to be in a bad mood.

Ru is the definition of privileged. She comes from old money, money that her parents worked hard to stockpile. Both her parents are businesspeople, and as their only child, Ru was spoiled. She never wanted for anything. She was constantly praised for being the top of her class, the best there is, destined for greatness. Her parents did nothing to deflate her ego to a more manageable state; they continued to inflate it with further praise and promises of success.

Ru loved the attention, the affirmation from others. She wanted more. And what job is more glorious than that of a pro hero’s? She already had invitation letters to several hero schools across the country, but they weren’t good enough for her. She wanted to attend the most selective of them all: S.K. Once she told her parents she wanted to attend, they offered to make sure she got an invitation letter. She told that it wouldn’t be necessary; her skill and abilities would inevitably draw their attention.

After several months without an invitation letter, her parents secretly used their connections and wealth to convince the school to send a letter her. They never told her of their meddling, and she believes she earned their attention by her skill alone.
