In the face of work, classes, projects and impending exams that I somehow managed to handle perfectly because of Pied Piper blasting in my ear and the power of the Bangtan love vested in me; on October 17th, thanks to FlixbusxEasyjet #brokestudentlife, for no more than 60€, my smol French self was on German soil ready for the time of her life.

Getting to the venue in itself was a breeze because Eva had gone out to scope it out the day before.

Once we were there though, it was confusing to figure out where we were supposed to go because we had tickets.

Mind you, I don't speak a breath of German except the bare minimum and in the words of a few penguins, smiling and waving can get you pretty far in life. So can a few awesomely baked cookies, courtesy of Eva.

After a lot of fluent German speaking, queuing and cookie eating, we made it in and at around 5pm, we were in our seats.

It was 5pm.

The concert was at 7pm.

Can you feel my pain drowning in adrenaline?

Thus, began the longest two hours of waiting and fanchanting of my life.

Then, it happened.

That just hit you in the face, didn't it?

It hit me so hard that I fired away so so SO many pictures and videos that not only my feels, but also the dreaded 25 Amino picture limit could not and STILL cannot contain.

it didn't hit me how good our seats were and how close we were to the stage until those first songs happened and my feels just took over.

I actually liked not having a choreo during 'Euphoria' because everything was bared down to just Kookie and us.

It was so intimate and I could feel the emotion in baby bun's voice. His voice is just- I have chills.

Because yes, after seeing this tall and handsome man with my own eyes, I'm STILL calling him an adorable bun.

though Aloë, after her concert in Amsterdam, had warned me that Yoongi would let us start 'I Need U', the confusion was real for a long minute.

we all started jumping and down and screaming and it was all forgotten.

I already love Joonie to pieces but to hear him during this performance and just expressing himself so clearly and with such presence...

It's important to note that Tae's slightly feeling under the weather. I also hope he doesn't let it get to him because he still did so well and listen.

I was speechless during 'Singularity'.

Kim Taehyung is THAT magnetic.

It goes beyond his looks, his entire being is just magnetic. Like a very gentle but strong force.

As a citizen of Seesaw Nation, it's my duty to let you know that I promptly lost all notion of space and time and cried when the first cord started.

Then, proceeded to ugly sob fanchanting and almost dropping my phone.

Thus is the life of a Seesaw Nation citizen.

I went into this concert not believing that I was going to this concert because the whole act in itself was surreal.

When I saw Min Yoongi.

When I heard him.

My heart just-

You know the expression 'my heart leapt to my throat'?

That's what happened.

My heart just knew. It all clicked into place.

I think that split moment of appreciation is the closest I can get to describing the synergy between Jinnie's gorgeous voice and self.

He's just an embodiment of that beauty with such stage presence that I clearly the small voice in my head going 'Hush, don't fanchant. Just listen to this. It won't last forever. every detail. Then, cry.'

I cried.

Full Concert

I could talk all day long about this concert. I could talk your ears off about how talented and hard-working they all are. Then, go on for hours about pictures doing no justice to how handsome ALL seven of them are. They each hold different yet charismatic auras ranging from strong to shy and adorable to vibrant and warm.

I could tell you just how much every emotion building in my chest had amounted to this moment; how my prior perception of the was spot on and it felt like seeing an old yet new friend but even then, I was moved to the point of no return.

I could tell you how how clean the venue was, inside and out, and how kind people were. I even befriended all ARMY around me. It felt so incredibly warm to be surrounded by the loud bass and the beautifully united fanchants. Though I only spoke of the solos in this post, there is no out of body experience quite like the transition from the powerful 'Dope'/'Baepsae' chants to the bittersweet 'Truth Untold'.

I could also swear to you that eye was made through a sea of people.

I could tell you how I never wanted it to end.

I could tell you all that.

I could.

But then, I'd cry again and this post would never end.

So, please, sit back and watch.

- Allocated seats: I didn't have to queue. I came when I wanted and went to my seat number. I had a lot of room to sit, put my things down, etc. No one was pushing me and whatnot.

- Close to the stage: you have the VIP row and then the seats. so we had an AWESOME view.

- other benefits at the venue: but we didn't use them, so I can't tell you exactly what they were.

I was also there on this day. I was just mesmerized by their performance and my surroundings. One week ed and I still can't believe that I saw them live :heart_eyes: . It's very cool, that you summarised the whole event. It's a very good memory for all of us :blush: We can look back in the future on this day and can say, that this day was something, you can't experience it equally the same way like it was on October, 17th 2018. 🤗

ohh and I gotta say, you had SUCH AN AMAZING VIEW YOU WERE SO FREAKING CLOSE and the photos you took ARE SO much better then mine... I could barely see anything half of the time because I sat in such a bad angle very very high up... I was too busy screaming and realizing that this WAS REAL to be sad about my spot, plus, I'm really lucky I could go anyways. I was there and that counts and I'll never forget this evening and I still get goosebumps when I thing of the first notes of euphoria in the dark and how we all screamed and how we all sang along to I need you and how yoongi waved to us and how FREAKING enthralling Hobi was and yes. THANK you for summing this up, so far I felt unable to put it into words properly :purple_heart: :sob:

I was there too (i someone with a simular jacket like this haha maybe It really was you) and I gotta say this is my favourite concert review of all time. SO WELL WRITTEN and it was exactly a week ago, the ambience got so near again I already cried but this almost made me tear up again...
