Script Society has brought you some spooky poems that will be sure to put you in a haunted feeling!
Darkness surrounding around
Her head pounded in agony
Screams echoing in the distance
She was being followed, running for her life
Targeted, on purpose
They were out for the crown
A ruler in hiding
A woman in fear
Had she come back from the dead?
The voice was so familiar
Calling out her name in the dead of night
Was this really happening or was it a trap?
A light shone down as the blonde tripped
Sliding down the muddy hill in a heap
Wide blue eyes looking up in terror
Only for a light to blind her
Was this the end?
The light flickered off
Eyes adjusted to the moonlight
A gasp leaving her lips
A silent vow to never speak
The screams stopped
They stared for hours
Then, she was gone
A high-pitched whistle rings in his ears
Footsteps trampling over mud floor
Surrounded by darkness, by towering trees
Rain beginning to fall, starting to pour
His chest tightened
His breathing short and fast
Sweat dripped down his neck
The forest lasted forever, the land vast
A blood curling scream escaped his lips
His body went down, his jeans all ripped
Greedy hands grabbed at his shirt
Like a wounded soldier would fall, right into the dirt
As soon as he fell he heard a laugh
He groaned and pushed himself up from the grass
Whatever creature dared try harm him
The mask was pulled away, the smile grim
“Oh, fuck you Jaeger!”
A male named Armin
Gets scared easily
He never wished
For him to scare easily
On a beautiful day
While he was out in the bright shining sun
He saw a small ageway
So, he went through
He saw a short wizard
The wizard turned around
And warned him about a loud sound
Armin looked confused
He had no idea what the wizard meant
The wizard just gave him a drink
And then Armin left
A couple minutes later
After Armin had drank the weird drink
He felt the ground shake
What could it be?
Maybe, an earthquake?
No
There was the noise
A.. loud breaking noise
He saw people panicking
He looked at the wall surrounding him
Wall Maria has been destroyed
But how?
A titan!
One that was 50 feet tall!
Armin looked around
People running towards the boats
Armin suddenly got shorter
He turned into a ghost
Others doing the same
What was going on???
Titans raided Wall Maria
Everyone a ghost
Others, being eaten
Blood
More blood
Blood everywhere
Next thing you know
Bats are in the air
Spiders climb the tress
The walls
You hear screams
And church bells ringing
The rings don't mean good
The rings mean death
Armin flies around, looking for a safe place
He can't find one
Tens and thousands of titans flood the streets
All you can hear is screams for help
People rushing towards the boats
Armin starts rushing
He makes it
He gets on a boat, thankfully
He wonders why all of this is happening
Finally, the boat starts heading towards wall Rose
Armin's alive
Most are alive
Armin can now live his life
Marco leaped into the cave.
Falling into a rabbit's hole.
Sinking like quick sand!
Bumping his head hard like a hammer.
Looking up to see a frightful sight!
Spotting spooky skeletons in the cave!
Jumping out of his skin!
Marco looked to see it gone!
He had literally jumped out of his skin.
Now becoming like a spooky skeleton too.
His bones rattled like lighting.
Marco's body lying cold as if dead!!
He couldn't believe his eye sockets.
That he would be a skeleton forever!
Stuck in this state.
Might as well have a laugh to rattle his bones.
But it was no joke.
He was trapped.
Devouring screams so only one can be heard
When all voices drown out the villain’s desperate tune
Speech starting to slur
Giving into the gloom
Wrapping my hands around my throat
Come to figure out they’re not my own
The powerful are provoked
My personality is sewn into me
Each piercing from the sharp needle
Carelessly making a facade on my face with no mercy
Who is that slave I saw in my dreams?
Raggedy clothes with dark eyes that looked like she had been longing for a place to hide.
Is that a version of myself or is it another?
Pressing on the fact no one is in control.
Damnit, please
Let me go.
My throat being filled with words of bitter lies
Suffocating me sweetly, hoping for it to finally lead to my demise
Red trickling from my eyes instead of mourning tears
Salty liquid becomes blood in mere years
Let me go
I’ve been dragged low
Can’t breathe and now the idea of it is frightening
To lose my own life at the hands of another or my own?
Levi,
may the abyss come
upon us, the fallen
ones
scared, silent
Scary Nights
tormented, silent
ravens
swarming around, silent
Scary Nights they come
upon us
creatures of dark
ghosts and ghouls
tonight really is a,
Scary Night
she slumps down to her knees,
tears slide down her cheeks,
she hates this, hates herself, hates everyone,
things could’ve been better, they had been better.
but then of course, it changed.
the beast in front of her narrowed its eyes,
its jaws parted in a silent yowl.
its aura radiating grief and anguish,
a perfect reflection of the girl it once was,
the girl it longed to become again
she had once been whole,
found her other half in the company of a goddess.
someone who listened and loved,
someone who taught her how to be whole again.
bruises and scars replaced
by kisses and soft touches.
they had been perfect together,
finally happy after years of suffering.
until it all fell apart,
their perfect world shattered to pieces.
Caged like a bird, free of will
Sheltered and deprived, without any feel
It’s him again; the man of her dreams
Yet at the same time, things just aren’t as they seem
“Hello? Is it you?” she called every day
But no matter what, that person never had their say
He would always go away, after his brief stay
And the girl would be left at bay
But one day, the man didn’t arrive
The girl had no other means to survive
She needed to rely, and she didn’t know why
So she would have to set out on her own, or the end would be nigh.
As soon as she moved, she feels a chill
He whispers in her ear, she lets out a scream, shrill
“You dare take a step, and I shall take part of your life…”
With a snap of his fingers, he cuts her down with a knife
The moment she dares to try and escape
He would bound her down and silence her with tape
“Don’t move, little girl…” he freakishly cried from behind
But there she was left, scared, beat and tied
She opened her eyes, where no one was there
Her restraints were gone, and her skin was still fair
Who was that? the man of her dreams?
Was it a nightmare? Where had she been?
A knock on the door, slow, quiet, and odd
She stood up, shivering, reaching for the knob
She turned it to open, but it was then it refused
The girl stood there, horrified, wide-eyed and confused
She hears a whisper, there and then
“You dare shall move, and I will remove your head…”
The door slowly opened with an eerie creak,
But there was nothing there. Just grey, darkness, bleak...
It was the same room: dark, and with something she had never noticed before
Behind her, was that rectangle: the same shape as the door...
I lock the doors and shut myself away in fright
They say it's only fiction so do not fear the night
But on the other side of this twisted reality
This creature I fear is none other than me
As the moon is illuminated, I begin to change
Anger and rage blurring together, I can’t think straight
Losing sight of myself, I let out a howl
“Is this something a human would allow?”
When the clouds start to shift they hide my tormentor away
Awakening me from another nightmarish daze
Hands now stained in crimson, proof of my sins
Although my mind has forgotten I will not be forgiven
Violence, resentment, hatred, all the things I ignore
But they all come out to play when I lose control
Staring back at my reflection, I let out a scream
“Is this what a human is supposed to be?”
Daylight has broken, the wolf inside me disappeared
But I am still the terrifying beast all the people fear
Commander and Captain will decide my fate
Too dangerous to exist is the answer they gave
Such lack of empathy, I’m not the only animal it seems
Or is that you’re all too afraid to face reality?
I will ask one more thing before I’m taken from my cell
“Is it a human or a monster you will send to Hell?”
Fear corrodes my body like ice,
One like no other, coming at no price.
I walk through the dimmed halls of of my workplace every day,
This negative entity, whispering into my ear
my past mistakes, my regrets that I want to forget.
“It’s because of you your best friend is gone,” it whispered, etching those thoughts into my mind.
I’m not one to let go of the past that quick.
Her death haunts me everyday, never holding back.
My fear becomes a reality.
What I picture in my mind becomes vivid to my eyes.
Blood sputtered around my walls, giant spiders resting on their webs, and whispering voices saying nonsense that cannot be understood.
I felt a hand rest upon my shoulders,
Seeing my lover looking at me reassuringly,
telling me that everything is okay and everything will .
The fear fades away into the wind, as I tightly embrace him in the moonlight.
I see all of the people I’ve left behind
Maybe I’ve lost my mind
In front of me, as clear as day
They’re never going away
Your ethereal form sits down
On the ground
Still as young as when I last saw you.
“Reiner, why did you forsake me?
I saved your life, and then you use it wastefully.
You doomed my brother,
Now there is no other
Path for him to tread
Than that in which he ends up dead.”
“Marcel…”
Yet there is nothing that I can say
That will make this guilt go away.
Another ghost appears,
Confirming my worst fears.
This one still in uniform,
Yet this version is untorn.
“Reiner, I thought we were brothers-in-arms,
But you caused me unspeakable harm.
I witnessed your crime,
And there was no time
Before you watched me die,
Without any feeling in your eyes.”
Although I can hardly Marco’s death,
His spirit appears to me nonetheless.
Again, there’s nothing that I can do
To make the things he says any less true.
Materializing in the corner,
My last failure comes to end my nightly torture.
My oldest friend
The one that I disappointed until the end.
“Reiner. You’ve finally come back home,
But this time you’re all alone.
You failed us all,
But you still had the gall
To return without us?
We all stayed behind, thus
You should have as well.”
“I am well-aware
That nothing that I have done is fair,
But Bertolt, you must know
That I never wanted to go.
To leave with all of you still there...”
I trail off, staring at the now empty chair.
Silence returns in the once again empty room
Gone are the spirits blaming me for their doom.
Without their voices to keep me here,
I can try to temporarily escape my fear
And
Sleep

There once was a boy named Eren
Who played bowling with all the pins.
Then his mom got frighten.
And got eaten by a titan
And now he wants humanity to win.
This is why I'm not a poet.
Yes
There's a Family.
A boy is happy.
Girl is happy.
Watching the trees swaying
And Running--Playing..
Staring at the ball.
Behind the large wall.
