Now, onto my (long) submission for #ArtGuild.
Before I begin, I just wanted to say that I had this idea since 2019. “What happened?” The Group Date Café in Persona Q happened. Basically, I answered a question that best suited Shinjiro, and I got paired up with him…twice (P3 and P4 sides).
Oh, and I was also interested in Junjou Romantica and Sekaiichi Hatsukoi at the time. It’s yaoi, so search at your own risk.
Anyway, I basically decided to draw Shinji and *Makoto* (not Minato) in a certain scene from SiH, but with some twists aka my preferences. Basically, I have Shinji without his beanie and a bright-colored turtleneck (unintentional) and Makoto with slightly shorter pigtails.
Below is the result:
I struggled to “accept” this as a finished piece, so I left it alone semi-intentionally (because Life). Not only did it look basic (granted, the reference isn’t that much different), but I also struggled to take a able photo of it. Long story short, I took the photo in the morning than late at night. (Though preferable in photography, I haven’t slept at the time, so I was overall frustrated.)
A few days later, I created this edit to lessen my dislike for the drawing.
Though created on a whim, I had some issues during the process. I was trying to apply certain brushes, but they weren’t being applied as I wanted them to. (I’m pretty sure that’s an app issue and not a *personal problem*.) “Why not just screenshot—?” You Can’t, as the blasted app Prevents that. So instead of faint sparkles and bubbles, have this slightly basic edit with some effects.
