Kevin is often viewed as a cold-hearted, bitter person because he pushes people away. He doesn't want to get close to anyone because he doesn't trust himself and doesn't want to hurt anyone. He'll give everyone the cold shoulder.

He isn't one to show his feelings, Kev doesn't even smile. When he feels himself getting close to someone and starts to open up to them, he'll quickly push away by changing the subject or walking away.

Even though Kev appears cold-hearted, he still cares about the people he loves and will do anything to keep them out of harms way, especially if he's the one doing the harming. He does not like to see someone he cares about getting hurt.

𝑬𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒚 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆: 𝑹𝒐𝒙𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒆'𝒔 𝑫𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉

As a young boy, Kevin Blaze lost his mother in a house fire. She woke up in the middle of the night, smelling something burning, curtains were on fire, and what it looked like a lit candle got knocked over and caught the curtains. In a panic, Roxanne (Kevin's mother) jumped right out of bed and hurried upstairs to Kevin's room, waking him up. The house was starting to grumble down, and the stairway was blocked by a roaring flame, so Roxanne thought fast and told Kevin to climb out the window.

Kevin did what his mother told him and climbed out the window, he was screaming for her when the room suddenly turn a bright orange from the fire a bean had fallen on top of Roxanne was screaming in agony as her entire body became engulfed into the angry flames. Kevin watched helplessly as his mother was being burned alive.

The flames had made their way onto the roof, and Kevin was backing up from the fire, his feet began slipping on the tiles, and he was trapped. Half of his body caught on fire, and he was screaming in agonizing pain, but before his entire body became engulfed with the flames, a firefighter managed to pull him out. He was alive..barely. His entire shoulder to his elbow on his right side was severely burned. He was immediately taken to urgent care to get his burns treated.

𝑬𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒚 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆: 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒌

After being in urgent care for six weeks, Kevin burns did healed, but the way they healed was odd. The doctors couldn't even explain. The way the burns healed, the scar was the shape of the letter "S." The doctor's never seen anything like it, and it frightened them.

The doctors didn't quite understand the mark, but it was indeed frightening and they didn't want to deal with Kevin anymore so they started to do some research on Kevin seeing if he'd had any other relatives, the only other relatives he had was his father Johnathan Blaze, but they couldn't find anything on him it's like he went off the grid, so the doctors only had one other option..send him away to an orphanage. They got the phone with the S, and the S came and got Kevin.

The Orphanage saw the mark on Kevin's shoulder and told the S that he was "branded" by the devil calling him the "anti-christ", they wouldn't take him because this orphanage is run by "God's Children" and slammed the door in their face.

Of course the S did not believed in that kind of stuff so they kicked they pretty much kicked the door back open and threaten the pastor and the Sisters that if they don't take this boy in they make sure they are arrested for child negligence and the pastor and Sisters immediately took the boy in.

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑶𝒓𝒑𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆

After being the orphanage, at age 12, the orphanage owners treated Kevin extremely poorly. They treated him like a dog and kept him locked away in the basement, barely giving them food and water. He was given scraps and only one bowl of water every day, nothing else. They never let him out of the basement.

When a family comes to the orphanage, they would chain Kevin up in a soundless cell in the basement with no light and lock the door.

While he was locked in the cell, Kevin would visit by an "old friend", that's what he claimed himself as. This "old friend" would appear every time he's in the cell and play with him. It was the only thing that was keeping the boy sane, or that's what it seemed like. They would play catch with one another and play tic-tac-toe in the dust of the floor, but that "friend" always disappeared when he's let out of the cell an back into the basement, he was alone again.

One day, an elder man by the name of Carter Slade came to the orphanage to give away some old toys and clothes for the children. He'd noticed the pope going to the basement and it was kind of fishy to him, but he didn't ask of it, instead he kept his eyes on the door before one of the sisters came back blocking his view from the door. Carter then placed the things he brought for the kids on the counter and walked out of the orphanage.

As a few days went by, Kevin started screaming for help from the supposedly soundless cell, banging and shaking the door. The couples who were there looking for some children to adopt, heard the banging of the door and they got worry, until one of the sisters lied to the couple and said that the children are playing "hide and seek". They relaxed some, and after a couple of hours, the couple walked out with their newly adopted child.

In anger, the pastor would match his way down to the basement, grabbing a belt. He'd opened the door to the cell, and Kevin gasped in fright as he backed up into the wall. The Pope then walked over to Kevin, ripping his shirt and pants off, then begin to whip Kevin on his bare back with the belt, the edges of the leather belt cut into him making him bleed as he screamed out in agonizing pain.

Kevin's entire back was covered in blood with deep cuts from the leather belt. The boy was panting heavily from the pain, his cheeks stained with tears. The pastor then put his hands on the back of Kevin's neck, pinning him against the wall.

"What did I say about being quiet?"

The pastor then looked down at Kevin's body, and smirk graced his lips. The pastor the as/ulted Kevin. Kevin was begging him to stop, but he wouldn't. The Pope then dug his nails into the boy's neck, making him bleed, and the Pope only went faster.

As the pastor was finishing up, there was a sudden snap noise, and the pastor fell to the ground, his head twisted almost all the way around. He was dead. The chains on Kevin's wrist were broken out of the wall. Fear filled the boy's eyes as he looked around. There he was, Kevin's "friend" standing beside the Pope's body. Kevin looked up at the man and thanked him before he took off running. The sisters tried to grab him, but they were stopped and thrown against the wall.

The boy ran down the streets, completely naked and covered in his blood, screaming for help. Luckily, the man named Carter Slade happened to be ing by making his way to the orphanage. He saw Kevin and quickly pulled over and went up to Kevin, putting an oversized jacket around him. Carter then picked up Kevin and took him with him.

𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒓'𝒔 𝑫𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉

Kevin has been living in the care of Carter Slade for the past five years. He is now 17 and living a pretty fair life. Carter had taught him how to work on vehicles and motorcycles, Kevin was actually a pretty fast learner, and Carter was pretty impressed. Carter even taught him about defense.

One day, as Kevin was out shopping, he got a call. He had stopped in his tracks and dropped everything. He could barely speak. Kevin was just informed that Carter was found dead. There was no cause. They said it was probably a heart attack, but Carter was pretty healthy.

The teen would hurry home, and he literally fell to his knees after seeing Carter's body and screamed. He then started crying uncontrollably, cops tried to comfort him, but he would push them away, yelling at them, then took off running.

Kevin had taken off into the forest and fell to his knees, screaming and crying, punching the ground. He sat there for about 30 minutes until a man appeared in front of him.

The man was holding a cane in front of him with a skull. He stood up straight, dark eyes on Kevin. Kevin slowly looked up at him, his eyes red from crying.

𝑴𝒆𝒑𝒉𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒑𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒔

"I thought I was going to see you again, Kevin. me?"

The man with the cane finally spoke, after standing there and watching the boy for a minute. A smile spread across his lips as he tilted his head to the side.

Kevin then wiped his tears away and nodded slowly. He then stood up watching the man for a moment. The man then held his arms out, signaling Kevin to hug him. Of course, Kevin accepted the hug.

The stranger only smiled more as he slowly pat Kevin's back. Although Kevin's cheeks were suddenly stroked with a claw, Kevin quickly pushed away from him, and his eyes widened in fear.

"Who are you?"

Kevin asked as he slowly started to step away with his hands up, his heart racing. The man just held his finger up to his lips, telling him to stay quiet. He then placed a tip of his finger to the teen's head, and he collapsed unconscious.

Kevin then woke up chained to an upside down cross. He had slowly opened his eyes and looked around. He then moved his head to the side to see the chains around his wrist. Kevin began to panic due to what happened to him in the past and started to pull the chains, but no luck.

"Relax, child. I only want to help you."

It was the man from the forest. He had spoken up and started walking toward the boy, a smile spread across his face. The man would move Kevin's face to make him look at him.

"You were wondering who I was?"

The demon would slowly slide his finger to the boy's arm, ripping his sleeve off. Panic filled Kevin's eyes as he watched. The man then placed his hand on the scar on Kevin's arm. This made Kevin Jolt.

"I go by many names.. "Devil's Agent", "The Devil Himself", but I prefer to be called.. Mephistopheles."

Mephistopheles would press his hand against the scar, and Kevin felt a burning sensation, and it felt like his arm was fire. He then let out a cry, an agonizing cry. Mephisto just has that shit eating grin on his face as he listens to the teen's cries. A branded "S" tattoo of a serpant begins to form on the scar to hide it. Kevin then went unconscious from the pain.

𝑺.𝑯.𝑰.𝑬.𝑳.𝑫

A year had gone by after Carter's death, and Kevin had inherited a cemetery, and a rather large house, a mansion basically as Carter had put Kevin's name on his Will saying everything goes to him. He even inherited quite a bit of money, and he used that money to open up a car shop where he could fix old cars and motorcycles. Made a lot of money off of it.

One day, as Kevin was underneath an old car, a dodge charger he had just bought from a junkyard and was fixing it up, a man walked into the shop. He had an eyepatch and was wearing a long black trenchcoat. Kevin saw the man's black shoes from under the car.

"We're closed right now."

He'd announced, but the man only put his foot on Kevin's creeper and dragged him out. The young man did not like this, and his eyes narrowed slightly to the stranger.

"Excuse me?"

"You are excused. My name is Nick Fury, and I've been watching you for quite some time now. You are quite the rare specimen, and I would like to talk with you."

The man explained, pulling on one of his black leathered gloves, his eye on the young man as he stood up straight. Kevin gave him a confused look as he stood up from his creeper, wiping the oil off of his hands with a towel, then tossing it to towel.

"What do you mean by 'speciman'?"

"Your name is Kevin Blaze, son of Johnathan Blaze and Roxanne Simpson. You were adopted by Carter Slade at the age of 12, lost your mother in a house fire at age 5. Your father is nowhere to be found."

Kevin's eyes only narrowed more as he stepped up to the man who called himself Nick Fury, looking down at him. The other two people who were with him put their hands on their guns, ready to shoot Kevin, but Nick held his hand up, signaling them to not.

"Hold your fire.."

"How do you know all of this?.."

Kevin sneered, eyes still on Nick. Nick just stood there, seeming unfazed by the young man's bitter attitude. The agent just smiled. Some grabbed Kevin's arm, making him jolt a little. Nick rolled up his sleeve and looked at the tattoo on his arm, then back up at the other.

"Do you even know who you are?"

The young man would fall silent, thinking for a moment before he jerked his arm away from Nick, pulling his sleeve back down. He watched Nick for a moment before he turned his back to him.

"You can leave now.."

Kevin implied as his expression softened. Nick would walk up to the boy gently, placing his hand on his shoulder and speaking to him in a soft voice.

"Kevin.. we're here to help you. We understand how you feel.."

"No, you don't! I said LEAVE!!"

The boy cried as he turned around to face Nick, and two large black feathered wings popped up behind him, knocking some things down. His eyes even turned red for a brief moment, and he stumbled some catching himself on the car. He was panting heavily, and his wings had folded away.

Nick hurried over to Kevin to help him stand back up straight. A worry look was on his face. He gently pat Kevin's back to calm him down.

"We work for secret incorporation known as S.H.I.E.LD and we help people like you and all this anger your holding in, we can find a way for you to let out safely, we want to help you. Let us, Mr. Blaze. We can see you're in a lot of pain.."

The agent explained calmly in a gentle voice. Kevin slowly looked at the man, still panting. His eyebrows furrowed as he started to believe what the man was saying. But can he trust him? The last person he trusted tortured him.

"You.. really can help me?.."

Fury would nod slowly as he started to stand back up, pulling Kevin back to his feet and dusting him off. Kevin was silent for a moment before he finally agreed.

Age 24 and Nick Fury had trained Kevin to become one of S.H.I.E.L.D's greatest assassins. Nick Fury would put him on missions to kill Hydra , and in his free time, Kevin hunts and kills demons, as well as work at his car shop.

Archery - Kevin his highly skilled in archery. He's almost up there with Hawkeye, but he mostly uses a crossbow and never misses with a crossbow.

Sharp Shooting - He's highly trained in gunslinging and sniping. Carter Slade taught him this. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents were pretty impressed with his sniping skill and sharp shooting. On the first day of his sharp shooting class, he hit all of the targets in a matter of minutes.

Sword Fighting - Kevin is highly skilled in sword fighting and is able to block bullets with his sword(s) with ease at full speed. He had fought many other sword fighters (ninjas specifically) and didn't get hit very often. Might have been a few times when he was cut.

Knife Throwing - This is a self-taught skill since he often threw knives at the walls when he's bored. He even threw knives perfectly at his training targets and hit every last one of them.

Master of Martial Arts - In his training of becoming an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D, Kevin was taught in the Martial Arts and can do hand-to-hand combat without weapons quite good.

Regenation - Even though he's a Nephalem, he doesn't heal right away like a full blooded demon or angel does, but he still heals faster than the average human being.

Hellfire Manipulation - Despite being completely frightened of fire, Kevin can manipulate fire and bend it at his will. Nick Fury tries to teach him not to be frightened of fire. He only uses his flames, but he learned how to control it so it won't burn himself or anyone else only his choosing opponent. He has a chain that he keeps around his torso and will often catch it on fire to kill demons.

Flight - Kevin has massive black feathered wings that he uses to fly and get where he wants faster.

Durability - Kevin has incredible durability, mainly his wings. He'll use his wings to block bullets or other weapons from himself or wrap his wings around someone else to protect them from attacking weapons, such as bullets, throwing knives, fire, etc etc

Exhaustion - Kevin can literally die if he uses too much of his powers, which is why he don't use them. Every time that he uses his power, it's slowly killing him, which makes him appear ill and exhausted.

The Mark - Every time Kevin uses his powers, "The Mark" is sucking the life out of him and draining his human soul. Once his soul is completely gone, his demon and angel side will be at war with one another and can literally rip his body apart

Weapons Welded In Hellfire - Now these are a very rare type of weapons and not very many have them, but if a sword, dagger, or any other type of bladed weapon that was weld in hellfire is the only weapons that can kill him. Of course, he can still be badly wounded by a normal bladed weapon or bullet, but he won't particularly die from it.

Vulnerability (Stole this from DC Lucifer) - Kevin can make himself vulnerable around someone he loves or deeply care about, and yes, a normal bladed weapon and bullet will be able to kill him

Celestial Silver - Celestial Silver is a extremely rare material from the "Silver City" aka Heaven that is the only thing that can pierce through his wings if he uses them as a shield and if it touches his skin, it can burn him severally like an acid burn. This is also the only other thing that can kill him if it's drawn through his heart.

• Kevin doesn't know this, but when he was still in the orphanage, the pastor gave him some type of sleeping medicine, after seeing Kevin's wings coming to be, they were beautiful snowy white. He put Kevin in a deep sleep and cut off his wings. They grew back, of course, but instead of beautiful snowy white, they are cole black.

• Kevin owns a 1969 Dodge Charger that he had bought from a junkyard and rebuilt her from the ground up and made her look brand new.

• His favorite food he likes is steak medium rare.

• Kevin doesn't know it, but he does have his father's old motorcycle that he keeps in the garage.
