NÜWA Milkliners (review)

Today I want to show you what I found while shopping for back to school stuff to give away in my IG.

The Nüwa Milkliners

A knockoff of the well known Zebra Mildliners

(see the pun there?)

Price wise I don't know if it's cheap or expensive.

I'd say... See for yourselves and you tell me.

The x12 pack cost me $650 (ARS)

which roughly translates to $17 (USD).

BUT, living in Argentina is good to know we can get Chinese knockoffs in stores and not have to go through the pain it is to buy something from AliExpress and pray to the gods for it to arrive safely.

So I went to AE, to find how much they were there.

No surprise there... I payed exactly twice the price, but considering what I said about the shipping and arriving,

I think it's worth the money(?)

or at least I hope it was.

I couldn't find exactly the same brand and all the items show the actual Zebra stuff in the pictures so I assume Nüwa is what you get when you buy these things.

Now on to the swatches

How lovely is that picture? :eyes:

I tried to find the zebra closest to the colors in the 12 pack. But the Nüwa seem to be brighter in some tones (like the fluorescent ones) but more musky in others (like the dark red and green).

Aside from the name they don't look too different from the zebra.

Here a direct comparison to the ones I have.

And the extra zebra ones that I had left.

All in all, they paint well, they're alcohol based too so a little bleeding is expected. Since I used a 120gsm paper for the swatches it didn't bleed through but keep it in mind if you use 80 or 90 gsm.
