We create our reality whether consciously or not constantly. Have you ever thought about someone you haven't seen in so long and then so happened that you met them a few days later? Or has it ever happened to you that you wanted something so bad but deep inside believed that you'll never be able to reach it and you were right?
These are examples of manifestations. The problem isn’t learning how to manifest, we all do it all the time. The true challenge is rather how we can manifest consciously so we don’t feel powerless and like we're dependent on what we desire.

Why some things seem easier than others to manifest
There's things that seem easy to manifest and there's things that seem hard to manifest. Would you believe that both of those things can take the same amount of effort to manifest?
Say you want a cookie but you mostly desire to change something about ur face, like your lips. You do visualisation about both of those things but you constantly focus on your lips. You go to sleep in a high vibration and you're convinced that you will wake up into your desired lips forgetting about the cookie. The next morning you wake up to find that your lips look the exact same as yesterday, you feel devastated. However when your mum comes back from work she brings you a bag of cookies.

You about yesterday's visitation and you wonder why you manifested the cookies faster than your desired lips if 'all manifestations supposedly take the same amount of energy and effort'.
Here's the answer to your question:
Yes, detachment and the belief that 'it's easy to manifest small things'. But there's another mistake that is very common. The main reason is because you set a due date and expected how you will get it. You don't have the decision to chose when or how you will receive your manifestation, the universe will give it to you when its time (when you're ready).
Don't get discouraged if you don't receive your desired face in the time that you expect to get it, even if it feels like forever. It'll happen gradually so that no one will realise that its changing. If you changed overnight then it'd be quite strange unless its not a big difference.

Is it best to act like you have what you desire or just want it badly? Idk if that makes sense.
Its better to act like u already have it because ur mind will get used to it and have no choice but to manifest it into ur life. But wanting it really badly can cause resistance which can make ur results process slow.

Nice how often do u have to think about the thing u would like to happen Iv been doing manifestations for years and I did it with a jacket at a store and it appeared 2 hours later by thinking it and seeing it. But other stuff u think it and let go but it never came so if u don’t put the intention it won’t happen letting go is like forgetting about it not putting energy to it only but once but it never came back then there are people that do meditation of it for 20 days I sent that not letting go? But then they say think it and let go then it’s forgotten never to happen for me ?
