About flagging bad content

The Cause

So i recently had someone say that their flags are never taken care of in this community. They blamed the staff team, but they didn't know a small detail.

How the flag system works

Some flag reasons go straight to Team Amino, without the community staff being able to even see them. l don't know why Amino decided to make it like this. It doesn't really make much sense to me, but that's how it is.

Which flag reasons am i talking about?

Currently these are the three flag reasons i found (with some help) that go straight to Team Amino, past the community staff:

Sexual Content

Inappropriate Requests

Extreme Violence

Please keep in mind that this was found by testing the system ourselves. I don't know if Team Amino confirmed any of this.

What would be the best way to report something?

I know it's more effort, but usually it's better to one of the staff if you want to report something. The absolute best would be even flagging AND sending a staff member a PM. This way Team Amino would see it, and the staff team would too.

Why am i saying this?

I thought i would mention this, in case more people didn't know about how this flag system works. Of course we'll take care of any flags that end up with us, but some we just can't even see at all.
