Today we bring you a new

PSA about an additional

rule that's been added to our

Community [Guidelines]

regarding links.

About Links

We now require that ALL

community links are placed

at the very TOP of the post

and not randomly within it as

well as said links need to be

UNFORMATED.

⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂ ⠂⠄⠄⠂

Why is this rule set ?

This rule is done to help

access links

easily as well as to remind

rs to set links on their

posts. Usually links can be lost

within the post especially when

fonts or certain texts are placed

on top of it. To avoid this we have

made such a rule.

⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂ ⠂⠄⠄⠂

How do I do it ?

When you paste a link in

a post it opens a pop up

which allows you to place

in a title.

When you see this pop up

simply press insert without

typing anything in it.

⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂ ⠂⠄⠄⠂

Having done so the link

will appear unformated.

Like so:

THIS IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM !!

What are some exceptions ?

Links to posts within the

community, links to profiles

of staff, etc. do not count within

this rule. ONLY community links do.

Post that were made prior to this PSA

also are exceptions, so don’t stress

out about editing your previous ads !

Just to clarify- as long as there's a unformated link at the top, is it allowed to also add another link that is formated elsewhere in the blog, either for aesthetic purposes or otherwise?

here are two example posts of how the link should be. table of contents being first before the link isn't an issue as long as the main text doesn't start! ☆
