daydreaming of haven

hello everyone! its been awhile, hasnt it? the last time i posted an actual blog was almost exactly two months ago! dont worry though, i have plans for more of these dream diary type posts and maybe starting up a few services if i think ill have the time, so watch out for those!

anyways, recently i thought id add a new addition to my "daydreaming of ____" series, and as you may have seen, i made a poll a few months back asking which town you all would have liked me to visit first out of four i had chose. well,, i lost the paper that had all the dream addresses on it for those four towns along with many others i had planned on visiting.

all the towns ive visited in this series have come from the comment section of one of mischacrossing's "visiting your dream towns" videos, so i went back there to find more towns, having lost the bunch i had wrote down a while back, and thus i came across the dreamy town of haven.

haven, according to the owner, "is a dreamy, quiet little town set in early winter. it has a library next to the café, a shop run by a wizard, and even a church with a real goddess! by the time you come visit, theres a bit of a romance brewing.."

with that little intro out of the way (quite a long intro actually-), lets move on to castors time at haven.

castor awoke to a lovely snowy brick pattern all along the plaza and leading to the rest of the town, as well as two outfits, one more feminine and one masculine. castor personally didnt like the feminine version, so he decided to wear the other. although he did decide to wear the bulb bopper, which was laid out in the middle of both outfits, assuming it was for either. one of the first things he saw and loved was the flower beds, containing the cutest lil saplings.

he walked along the snow lined bricks until he found someone; a boy named noel. castor related to him wanting more coffee since its one of castors favorite drinks as long as it has the right beans and creamers and sugars to make it taste as sweet as possible without it being too overpowering. he didnt think too much of noel, until he noticed they were wearing almost the same outfit.. how odd. he didnt mind though.

in front of noels house, castor found a coffee wrapped in a nice shiny yellow paper with a small red ribbon tied around the top. it was lying on the ground of course, and, instead of worrying about any kind of germs or icky things the coffee may have obtained from being on the ground so long, he picked it up and began drinking. it was quite good, if hes being honest.

because he was already around, he thought itd be a good idea to do a bit of lurking inside noels house; he seemed to be too worried about tending to the beautiful flowers around his home to notice castor even being there.

inside was a one roomed library, equipped with more books than castor had ever seen. there were two people inside as well, and they looked nice, but didnt seem to talk much. castor was okay with this, as he can be a quiet person at times too. plus it was a library, so it was expected. without anyone noticing, castor slipped out of the cozy library and continued on his journey through haven.

castor noticed as he was roaming the town how.. symmetrical things were. the villagers houses all came in pairs, the same as some street lamps and other structures would be when he came to an intersection of bricks. the only villager who didnt come in a pair was beau, which he thought was odd compared to the others. another flower bed with small saplings was what replaced the symmetry near beaus house.

another persons house was coming up along the path, however castor couldnt seem to find the owner outside. assuming the owner would be as oblivious as noel, he went in.

ironically he found the owner, felicia, inside. her home had a very warm and welcoming feel to it, and castor loved it. she seemed very happy about receiving flowers from someone, which made castor happy. he loves flowers, however hes never been sent any.

felicias house was almost fully expanded, missing only one room. as stated before, castor loved the vibe her house gave off, so of course he would have a few favorite rooms. one was the room on the right; it reminded him of some sort of indoor garden, or even a small patio on the side of her home. the other favorite of his was the upstairs; although it was a bit empty, it still felt cozy and reminded him of his own home, possibly because of the reddish-brown patchwork accents.

castor left the house quietly, waving at the owner on his way out, however she didnt respond. he crossed the creaky wooden bridge and noticed a huge heart in the river, but didnt think much of it despite how beautiful it looked at that time of night. he took note that this part of the town seemed to be less taken care of. it was barren, compared to the town across the river. while on his way to the next house, he met another person; connor. he had a dark trench coat on and what looked to be a work uniform. castor didnt really understand the sentence connor spoke to him, so he carried on into his house to lurk a bit more.

inside, castor was surprised to see a tiny shop of sorts. the shop sold fairies, plants, medicinal herbs, and a few types of liquids he couldnt figure out the use of. the back room of connors house looked to be an office where the shop owner created his merchandise. there were many plants and medicines, along with a cauldron with the same green liquid that can be bought in the store. upstairs was a starry themed bedroom. castor thought this room was a bit messy, yet still stylish. the only thing out of the ordinary in this room was a wedding ring, letters and a wax stamp, and crumpled messy papers on and around a table.. seems like connor was writing some sort of.. proposal?

castor didnt want to question the items he had found in connors house, so he didnt, and he moved on to the next section of the town. on his way, he found a wrapped sparkler next to an old log bench. the police station was nearby too, along with the bulletin board in front of it.

castor found various treats and fun items on the way to the next house; a red heart balloon above an illuminated clock, an ice cream above an illuminated tree which was placed directly between two metal benches, a red pinwheel placed by a pond and a woodland seating area, and even sparkling cider under the roof of a bus stop. all quite odd placements, is what castor thought, however he did enjoy them all.

while exploring and collecting all of the treats, castor came across the owner of the last house. her name was gaia. she asked if he could hear the wedding bells and, quite frankly, castor couldnt hear any bells, so he was a bit confused but thought nothing more about it. castor thought gaia looked.. different.. than the other house owners. she seemed.. almost god-like. perhaps he had just met a goddess? or maybe it was something else about her.. he just couldnt put his finger on it. he continued to her house despite the confusion and god-like encounter he just had.

this house was holding a wedding! castor found this exciting and sat on the very front bench so he could see everything that happened. the two looked to love each other very much, and so he applauded them.

upstairs was a reception area with many types of foods and deserts, which castor was excited for. so excited, to be exact, that he began to worry about which deserts he was going to have. he decided on not eating any of it, since he knew once he started he would have to try at least one of every item in the room.

castor wished the newly-weds best of luck before leaving. he started walking towards what he had hoped was another new section of town he had yet to explore, but was disappointed to see he was back at the plaza with luna and lloid. he didnt want to wake up, since he had had such a wonderful time in this sweet haven. though he knew it was time to go and so he drifted back to sleep once more.

u g h . the struggle of wanting to describe every little thing that happens is real. anyways, i hope you enjoyed this post, and thank you for reading! haven was a wonderful town to visit and explore. honestly one of my favorite things from the town was the paths- if anyone knows who made them or if you have the qr codes please pm about it, id love to use them in one of my towns for winter! and of course if youd like to check out the person who made this town, feel free to check out her tumblr here. also when i picked this town to visit, mischa hadnt visited haven yet, but she did in her most recent dream town video! thats pretty cool.
