Hello! I have decided to this event because I

want to share with everyone here all the animes

that taught me so much. The impact of these

anime in my life had left me with a new mindset

and how I now view life.

I have listed down the three anime/manga

stories that I hold dearly to my heart.

The top 3 anime series that had and still have a huge impact in my life are:

   1. Detective Conan (now named "Case

   Closed" (Meitantei Konan 名探偵ナン)

   2. Is the Order a Rabbit? (Gochūmon wa Usagi

   desu ka? ご注文はうさぎですか?)

   3. The Apothecary Diaries (Kusuriya no

   Hitorigoto 薬屋のひとりごと)

This is arranged from childhood to my current

age.

So, what are the impacts and lessons I picked up

and learned from these three? I will list them

down one-by-one.

1. Detective Conan/Case Closed

(Meitantei Konan 名探偵ナン)

Detective Conan was one of the very first

animes I used to watch when I was a kid. My

brother and I used to always look for DVDs of

this series when we were outside, buying. We

absolutely loved and adored it to the point that

the search history of our computers and devices

was about Detective Conan.

[C]Hello! I have decided to this event because I
[C]want to share

If any of you guys are not aware, Detective

Conan is about a high school detective named

Sinichi Kudo. One night, due to his detective and

curious nature, he saw a man in black running

towards an unknown location and immediately

felt that. something was off. He was suspicious

of the man who ran past them. Since he is a

detective, he did not think twice and said

farewell to his childhood friend. Leaving her

alone just to see what the man in black was up

to. While hiding and evesdropping on the men in

black, he found out that they were doing some

shady business. Unfortunately for Kudo, he was

soon caught by one of the men and was hit on

the head. He fell to the ground and was given an

unknown drug before leaving him alone in the

dark. Time ed by, and he woke up to some

police men checking in on him. He soon learned

that his body had shrunked back to a kid. He ran

and informed a professor who is an old man

whom Sinichi is well-acquiainted with. All of a

sudden, his childhood friend, whom he left alone

earlier that night, showed up in the professor's

home. She asked Kudo, who is now a little boy

wearing big round eyeglasses, what his name

was. Kudo had to think fast. He then saw two

books. One was written by Arthur Conan Doyle,

the author of the Famous Sherlock Holmes

Stories, and the other was by Edogawa Ranpo. It

was the pen name of the Japanese mystery

writer named Hirai Tarō. That is where Sinichi

Kudo got the name Conan Edogawa from.

[C]Hello! I have decided to this event because I
[C]want to share

I hold so much love and respect towards this

anime because it taught me a lot.

The lessons I learned:

1. Attention to details

I learned. how to be more aware in some

situations. I learned how to pay close attention

to statements and details. I also learned a lot of

things that can be answered and solved by

science.

2. Able to piece things together

The plots, plottwists, the culprits' plans, and the

main characters' plans are all so good. Now, my

brother and I always have these plots and

scenes playing in our minds that could have

possibly happened every time a situation or an

incident occurs. I can not say it always goes

well. Because I know to myself that I am not as

intelligent as people like Sinichi Kudo. But I have

to say, there were times when we were able to

solve a few questions and mysteries as a child,

even while growing up.

[C]Hello! I have decided to this event because I
[C]want to share

A meaningful quote from the anime:

“Humans are suspicious and jealous creatures. When they see something perfect, they wanna find a flaw.”

       - Heiji Hattori

This quote impacted me in both the good and

bad way. I was hurt because it is indeed the sad

reality. On the bright side, it taught me to be

more private and careful with whom I must trust.

A lesson from Detective Conan that I wish I

knew sooner as a child is to always be curious.

Curiosity means you are eager and willing to find

out and learn. Do research and aspire to be as

smart as Conan/Shinichi.

2. Is the Order a Rabbit?

(Gochūmon wa Usagi desu ka? ご注文はうさぎですか?)

This anime is one of the most adorable shows I

have ever watched. This anime was also one of

the reasons why I love cafes, and I romanticise it

so much. I love coffee. But it was not due to this

anime at all.

[C]Hello! I have decided to this event because I
[C]want to share

This anime is about a girl who moved into

another city and lived with a family of three. The

father, the daughter, and their pet rabbit. During

the day, the daughter runs the cafe. Meanwhile,

the father runs the place as a bar during the

night. Cocoa, the main protagonist, claimed

Chino, the daughter, as her younger sister. She

lived and. worked under the family's home and

cafe. She also studies in the same city. Despite

being far away from her actual family, she still

manages to fit in and feels at home with Chino

and her family. Soon, they met more friends and

pet rabbits.

[C]Hello! I have decided to this event because I
[C]want to share

This anime taught and inspired me to be more

independent, just like Cocoa. Despite being the

youngest in her family, she still manages to get

along with others and be independent. I aspire to

have her positive and happy life.

The lessons I learned from this anime are:

1. I sometimes find myself appreciating the beauty of life and romanticize it.

There are times I stop whatever it is I'm doing

just to look around and think about the smallest

yet beautiful things the world has.

2. Affectionate

The characters' relationships and personalities

fit well with each other. It is truly adorable and

amusing to watch them. This helped me

appreciate and value my loved ones even more.

3. Hard work

Most of the characters are just kids, yet they

work hard while being a student. I ire people

like them. I think they are strong and

responsible. This anime inspires and motivates

me to work hard sometimes.

[C]Hello! I have decided to this event because I
[C]want to share

A meaningful quote from the anime:

“It’s natural to hide from an unfamiliar presence!” – Rize Tedeza

Hiding from unfamiliar people or events or etc.

a valid response. Trust must be given to the right

ones only. If one is not comfortable or familiar

with something or someone, it is much safer to

hide and not to give them any trust at all.

A lesson from Is The Order A Rabbit? that I wish

I knew sooner as a child is to always be

independent and learn proper manners. Chase

after what you want because if Cocoa made it to

her dream place and school far away from her

family, then I could too.

3. The Apothecary Diaries

(Kusuriya no Hitorigoto 薬屋のひとりごと)

I absolutely adore this anime. It is currently my

favourite. I love the plot, characters, and the

twists. The character is a mix of overpowered

and barely has any powers.

[C]Hello! I have decided to this event because I

This anime is about a teenage girl from China.

Her name is Mao Mao. She lives in the Pleasure

District with her great uncle. She and her

adoptive father are both apothecaries and are

skilled in medicine and health related. One day,

while Mao Mao was running some errands, a

group of kidnappers took her and brought her to

work in the imperial palace. There, she worked

as a. laundry girl before she decided to get

herself involved with an issue relating to the

emperor's children. She managed to inform and

the princess. That was when the emperor's

favourite concubine requested to find Mao Mao

and have her as her lady-in-waiting. That's when

her adventure started.

[C]Hello! I have decided to this event because I

This anime has taught me quite a few, just like

Detective Conan taught me. I absolutely love

shows that include teaching their audiences

Important and necessary information.

The essons I learned from this anime are:

1. Medicines

I learned a few medicinal herbs and ways to

treat and heal without having to go to the

hospital. I'll be applying all those lessons in my

life for emergencies.

2. Poisons

I learned a few poisonous plants, oils, and even

perfumes. As someone who loves eating

mushrooms, I learned how to determine whether

the mushroom is poisonous or edible. Not all,

though.

3. A little bit of history

I learned a little bit of history in the anime. It was

not much, but I was quite satisfied with the new

information I received from it.

Letter To Myself-[C]#LetterToMyself
[C]#PuppyBlogs

[C]Hello! I have decided to this event because I
[C]want to share

A meaningful quote from the anime:

"They had weighed their lives against their beauty, and in the end had lost them both."

               - Mao Mao

This quote was one of the quotes from the story

that hit me. I knew how beauty can also be bad

and toxic to people, but I just did not think much

and look into it. I did not expect that toxic

beauty, and obsession to it, can lead to death.

A lesson from The Apothecary Diaries that I wish

I knew sooner as a child is to always listen and

be curious about my parents' forte. Not just my

parents, but to most people I met. Get myself

involved. So, I at least carried useful information

that I could have applied in my life.

That is all! Those were the three anime/manga

stories that left a huge mark and lesson to me

while growing up.

My letter to myself:

       Dear self,

You chose the right anime/manga stories. All

of them had a great and huge impact on your

life. I know how much you focus on your flaws.

But if you ever feel horrible for being who you

are again, look back on all of the stories you've

picked up to read, watch, and listened to. It will

remind you that you still have these good traits

in you. Thank you so much for choosing those

stories. Continue to keep learning and improving.

                         - Love, your future self.
