Beginners Guide To Ark: Part 3 (Taming)

This part of "Beginners Guide To Ark" I'll be talking about taming. In the last part:

I talked for a second in the club section that, to tame most creatures, you bop them on the head to knock them out, and put the kind of food that Dino eats in its inventory.

What Food To Use

Herbivores:

Herbivores main Berry they like is the Mejoberry, but still can eat the other berries (Not Stimberries, or Narcoberries)

Beginners Guide To Ark: Part 3 (Taming)-This part of

Carnivores:

Carnivores preferred meat is Prime Meat, but still can eat Raw Meat. You can't use spoiled meat however as you can use it for narcotics.

Narcotics:

To make Narcotics you use 5 Narcoberries, and 1 spoiled meat, they are more effective for all creatures.

How To Identify Carnivores, and Herbivores.

Carnivore:

most carnivores are bigger Dino's, and aggressive, however some like the Pteranodon, aren't that big or aggressive. An easy way to test it once they are knocked out, is to put the Berries, and the Meat in, see what it eats, and use that.

Herbivores.

Most Herbivores are ive, or Neutral, and also mostly smaller. Not much to say other than that.

Taming Types:

Knock Out-

To knockout animals, you can do it a multiple ways, there may be more than I List, but I'll do as many as I can.

Club- use a club to knockout SMALL animals and maybe bigger animals, but low level, if you use a Bola then continue to smash the crap out of the Dino.

Bow And Tranq Darts- this method allows to be used with the plain old bow, and the crossbow. This method is a easier, and faster version of the club Method. You can tame most Dino's with this as long as you have a Dino helping you.

Dino's- to do this you have to tame a torpor dealing Dino, then just use it to knock the Dino out your trying to tame. This method is not used often, and I do not know how effective this is.
