Finally, a personal project lol
I really liked the photo and wanted to draw Amaranth relaxing in the water, although drawing the pose correctly was complicated, I hope it looks good xb
A lot happened, and I stopped drawing for a while, but I finally decided to do a personal project. I feel like it took less time than I expected, which is weird because it's usually the other way around XD
I feel like the composition is a bit simple, so I decided to add a bunch of gradients to the background and play with the light modes. I hope you like it and that it doesn't look as boring as I feel it kinda do XD

I don't know who Amaranth is.
I tried googling it but found nothing.
But I know that on the 6th day of creation, GOD made beasts and man. His intentions with beasts are varied. Some to showcase power, others beauty, and others still...truths about reality. All is beautiful. The lion in particular, I think, is a creature of power so seeing it drawn like this...well...it feels like when the sky outside turns gray. It's a little somber, a little pretty, and a little scary. Weather can be so unpredictable but thank you for sharing this personal drawing of yours.
GOD also made man on the 6th day...he made YOU to express love itself. To be loved and to love FOR love. What doesn't kill you DOES make you a little bit more humble, hmm?
