Why are you like this?

I've been wanting to finish this for days, but I kept getting distracted or didn't have time.

I drawing for a DnD friend. He's a Beastmaster, and this is his giant owl, Kai; but in the game, Kai is just a juvenile owl, so he's still a bit small. Even so, the poor thing almost dies all the time because he has very AC, and enemies seem to love attacking him especially.

I got the inspiration because at the last table, Kai ended up being kidnapped by pirates, and it seemed almost impossible to rescue him.

His owner, Icaris, saved him by making a deal with a fairy, who was also imprisoned by the pirates. She stole his name and gave him my character, Faire, as a bargaining chip for his owl.

So now I'm in a magical forest with a fairy who will conduct probably deadly experiments on me :neutral_face:
