「From A Tune of the Past」

I decided to give him the privilege of being first to have one of these, since I'm waiting untill the end of the story to give him a proper bio.

Probably the second cutest character from said story.

Also Akira's childhood friend.

「Inspiration」

「He was actually originally inspired by Izuku Midoriya from My Hero Academia, or more commonly known as Deku. But like my terrible skills at character creation, he ended up nothing like him.」

「Now that I think of it, the only major part I kept was his hair style from his original design. I didn't even keep the green hair.」

「Process of Creation」

「Originally, he was really just gonna be a background character, mainly a filler for Chapter 3. After I actually wrote about him, I changed my mind though.」

「The actual process wasn't actually as complicated as it sounds. His original design looked kinda like this.」

「And his name used to be Dokuya, but part of the reason I changed it was I forgot his last name.」

「In the original draft for Chapter 3, Honoka described him as the following.」

「He was cute. Rather small, especially compared to Akira. He was due for a haircut almost for sure. He must've died his hair green about a year ago, the natural brown was coming through quite a bit. He looked like one of those quite kids that had a few close friends, perhaps he was, and Akira was one of them...」

「That was at the point where I realised it'd be quite eye-piercing to have his hair fully green, so I decided to make it so some the brown was coming through, as said.」

「After mentioning a potential personality in Honoka's interpretation of his appearance, I realised I needed to set a personality for him. I ended up making him one of the types that Honoka assumed. Even though it's rude to assume lol」

「After that I realised he was kinda a cute character, so I took it into consideration to make him a major character. And I did.」

「Just recently I made it so he simply had brown hair, but dyed it green at some point when he was like 7.」

「Current Description」

「Akira's childhood friend, and one of Honoka's friends. He has a quite personality, having only a few close friends. He loves gaming and anime, probably one of my favourite things about him. He's rather small, and cute. His parents are divorced after his mother grew to despise him, so he now lives with his father. He's my second favourite from my story ^^」
