❝ What first got you into art? ❞

As far as I know I have been drawing since I could hold a pencil. I guess what got me first into drawing was seeing my mom's talent and wanting to be as good as her instead of just colouring her art. This caused me to search drawing videos online and copying them to the best of my ability.
I was also very interested in cartoons and later anime as I grew up so that also had an influence on the start of my art journey.

❝ Where does your inspiration come from now who are your inspirations? ❞

My biggest inspiration at the moment are manga and anime. The artists really inspire me with their unique style and stories they show with their art.
Other inspirations for me are my friends at art school and my parents. My parents are my biggest inspiration after the artists since my mom was an artist but gave up after some time and my father always had a good eye for art and always gives me good tips to improve and help me.
Although I do also say my younger self is an inspiration to me too, whenever I see my old art I see ideas for new drawings and I sometimes hope she is happy with the art she is creating now.
Lastly I would say my friends on my other amino, they have unique art styles and methods of drawing that inspire me. Everytime I see a new drawing they make I see little ideas for new drawings.

❝ What mediums do you enjoy working with? ❞

At the moment I love working with coloured pencils and watercolour. I do experiment with crayons and pens but they aren't my preference for traditional art.
I do use digital means as well in some of my drawings, especially the planning phase but my digital has not caught up yet to the traditional part of me. Although my pixel art is better digitally.

❝ What is your favorite piece and why? ❞

My favorite piece changes often when I draw new pieces. But I would say my favorite piece right now is the girl with the bubbles.
It was my first piece I did with my current style and was an experiment that turned out beautiful and was a big change to my style that I'm happy happened. Although it's just a small change it meant a lot to me.
It's also a piece where I'm very happy with the colouring and how different it felt from my other pieces before that. I would say it's the start of a big step in my art journey and something I'm very proud of.
It's also the drawing where I started mixing watercolour and pencils once again and where I finally opened up to different mediums. All in all a piece that has a lot of meaning to my art journey and myself.

❝ How do you deal with artblock? Any tips? ❞

I don't really have a lot of artblock, but when I do I usually take a break from detailed art and let my brain doodle out ideas. I don't care if they are ugly doodles or beautiful ones but I just continue making them.
On the other side I do start looking at interesting art concepts online, like poses or outfits that look cool to get new ideas. Sometimes I even doodle digitally to give my brain a change, most of the time that works a bit but that's different for everyone.
My tip is to not force art to appear on your screen/ in your mind. Your brain needs to rest and forcing it will only lead to things you aren't as proud of as things you didn't force. It's ok to take a break :)

❝ Do you have any advice/tips to share with other artists/new artists? ❞

I would say to keep trying new things and not stick with one thing only. You don't have to show your experiments to anyone but know that sticking to one thing won't evolve your art. It's ok to get out your comfort zone and to know that after a while your comfort zone will grow and grow even if at first you don't succeed.
Also don't give up so easily, and always compare yourself with your past work instead of other artists. Comparing yourself with people you think are higher in skill then you will demotivate you and lead you to giving up on your own art in the future.
Also don't be afraid to make mistakes, if a drawing doesn't look how you want it to look , then just retry or use the mistake in your artwork. It's better to learn from your mistakes then to let them control what you think of your art.

❝ How would you describe your art style? Do you have a favorite if you have multiple art styles? ❞

I would say my art has influences from anime and manga. But I also added more cartoonish features too it. My other style is my chibi style which just removes the nose from my art and makes it very anime inspired. And then my pixel art is just the chibi in pixels.
My favorite style will obviously be the one I use most so the first one I talked about :)

❝ What does art mean to you? ❞

Art for me is a ion I had for most of my life, but not is it a ion for me it's a way to battle my anxiety and emotions.
It's a way out of my stressful situations and I love how my emotions form images on the page.
But most of the time art is a way for me to express my ideas and ion for creating worlds and characters

❝ What are your art goals/aims? ❞

My biggest goal was to one day make my world into a comic or "manga". I always wanted to be someone that could write stories and make people happy with them.
Other goals can include finally making a step in the direction of digital art which can help me with my dream of becoming a professional artist or animator.
The last goal I would love to see happen one day is to have people recognize my characters. And for me to make them as recognizable as they can be.

❝ Do you have any original characters? If so what can you tell us about them? ❞

Yes I do have some original characters that I haven't yet showed but I'll talk about my most developed one.
Saku or Sakura for short is the boy with the witch hat in one of my drawings. In his world humans evolved to use elements to survive and make tasks easier. His element is water but a variant of it being ink. Meaning he is sort of an ink sorcerer who is the son of a famous flower farmer.
Other ocs I have finished right now are two villians who are also part of this story and are both female. One having the ability to control smoke and the other one being able to use nature itself as a weapon while also being a clown inspired gal.
