Tips from Ayumi
Hi I'm Ayumi and I'm here to tell you how to describe a winter wonderland. The first thing you need to do is think of words for winter. You can do this by using icy or misty. Words that can be used when thinking about the cold. Like a quick little example. "Eren huddled under the icy covered tree." Just a quick example of how to use words.
Another thing you can do is describe what is happening. Are the people in your wonderland sledding or doing something fun. It could be best to describe it. Having the people in the setting enjoy hot cocoa inside a house. Something that would bring a warm fuzzy feeling to those reading. Building snowmen beside the
house, ah so nice! Now I'll show you an example of how to do this.
It was almost Christmas, families were busy with shopping. Kids enjoying the blizzard that was outside. As they played with their skates by the lake. Sled down a hill really fast. The bitterness did not stop the younglings from building forts nor armies of snow monsters. Eren was running around, a snowball in hand ready to fire. Until a huge clump of snow smacked him in the face. "Who threw that snowball!" He cried out, his face as bright as Rudolph's nose.

Tips from Eruri
Let’s start with the beginning, Winter Wonderland. Before anything you’ll need to know what snow looks like and how it feels. Snow can be enchanting if told by the right person. Roleplaying Winter Wonderland can be a difficult task but if you had descriptive words into it, it can make the experience so much more enticing. For example,
Levi had always hated the bitter cold, pure white substance that seemed to just pour from the sky, even with the layers he was wearing he could still feel artic air. He was forced to trudge through the now fluffy and light bed of snow that had covered the ground, it would soon sparkle with the ice that would form over night. The raven could only hope it wouldn’t get as high as it had been last year. He shivered from the memory of having Erwin yank him out of hypothermic glaciar due to him being shoulders deep and trapped in the hard snow that had compacted together.
Due to the descriptive wording I used it gives you more detail and you get casted away into the scene. Without my wording it would have looked something like this,
Levi had always hated the snow that seemed to fall from the sky, the man could feel the cold air even through the layers he was wearing. He was forced to walk through the white snow that had covered the ground, it would soon be ice that would form over night. Levi could only hope it wouldn’t get as high as it did last year. He instantly had a flashback from having Erwin pull him out from a hard mound of snow that had him trapped shoulders deep.
The first example sounds better, right? It goes to show just how much detail can help improve your writing and when responding to a roleplay. You might not be the best when trying the best, but don’t worry! Practice makes perfect! I hope these tips helped you work with Winter Wonderlands!

Tips from Aesthetic Friend
Hi there! Its Aesthetic from the LT. This week was How To Describe a Winter Wonderland, so that's what this will be about!
A good tip for getting the reader interested, and wanting to read more is detail, and effort. Such as; Multiple paragraphs, visual guides in the words, and much more. It gives information about how it looks, and where it's supposed to be.
Some writing techniques aren't really good for describing this, a few examples of this are; Not putting time or effort into the writing, suddenly stopping it short, having no explanation of where the place is, or what it looks like. When you do that, the writing looks poorly written.

How to describe a winter wonderland
Hullo! It’s Jiminie, today I’ll be helping you guys kick cold season by giving tips on how to describe a winter wonderland~
Getting started
When you think of the words ‘Winter wonderland’ what comes to mind? When I think of those words I see a nice slowly lane with Christmas lights hanging down from huge pine trees.I see snow falling down an children’s beanies and families throwing snowballs at each other.I also see huge magical candy canes growing like plants. The definition of a winter wonderland differs among all people but it sure is fun to think up what it means to you!
Putting your image into action!
Once you get that special picture in your head think of what words you can use to describe it.How about cozy or frosty? Think about what fits your wonderful winter wonderland. How May it look? What resides inside? What is the scenery telling you?Once you have an idea you can take it anywhere.
Applying ideas to text!
The wind blew tiny flakes of snow down upon wonder lane. These flakes slowly drifted and found their own way around.None were the same they had all been very unique in their own way,as were the people on wonder lane.People big and small gathered on this lane singing jolly carols and exchanging balls of snow with each other. The scent of pine surrounded the lane as lights hung upon the big trees shining radiantly.Near the trees were big canes of mint flavored candy that seemed to grow similarly as the tree had.Children nibbled on these canes often tasting their minty breeze.Everyone on wonder lane had lived happily eternally in their magical winter utopia.
[bc]Thank you for reading!I hope this helps on your journey through the winter wonderland~

Tips from Cat
Hello it's Cat sharing some tips for your winter wonderland! My first tip will be adding emotions to your story/roleplay response. Emotions are really good at sharing the wonderfulness in winter! You don't want to sound boring like the following example. "Marco looked from his window at the snow falling outside.". That's an sentence without emotions. Pretty boring right? You might want it to sound like this: "Marco happily looked from his window at the sugar like powder falling outside.".
My second and last tip will be describing the texture of the snow. Snow can be described in different ways. Snow isn't just frozen water for some people, it can be a miracle or a dream came true. You may want to describe it as powder or sugar since it does have some similarities to those powders. Just because it's snow, it doesn't mean it can't have magic in it.
Marco woke from his slumber. He climbed out of his bed and wobbled towards his window. The boy's eyes filled with excitement as he saw white powder fall from the sky. Marco rubbed his eyes and walked towards his closet to get his coat. He got his coat and changed into the warmest clothes he has. The boy putted his coat on and started walking outside his room. He walked across his house towards the front door. The boy unlocked the door and opened it. For some reason, his friends were already outside making a snowman. Marco closed the door and quickly walked towards them. He tripped on a rock and fell face first into the cold snow.

Tips from Casey
My way to describe a winter wonderland would be mentioning what you see outside if it's snowing for you, or google some images, describe every detail, describe stuff like, the snowy trees, the ice hanging from trees.
Describe what you love about winter, for example, if you love the snow, describe how thick it might be, if there's a lot, where it is located, if you like ice, say if it's completely clean, no skate marks yet and so on,
Now for my example,
It was a cold winter morning, the sun had just risen, snow was spread over the ground outside and the rooftops were no exception, a few days ago there was just ice on the waters, there were many skate marks covering the thick ice, and the happy laughs of young children enjoying themselves, many snowmen had already been build by young and old, this winter, was the most wonderful winter yet..

Tips from Frieda
Winter Wonderland Tips
The cool winter air nipped at Frieda’s nose, leaving behind a rosy-red blush. It pulled the blue-eyed female into an embrace, leaving no trace that it was ever there besides the goosebumps that were left to reside on her porcelain skin. Despite the freezing temperature, the ravenette couldn’t help but have a joyous feeling bubble up in the pit of her stomach. Trees were iced with the piles of snowflakes, that glimmered ever so gently in the sunlight. Frieda continued to walk, her black boots leaving imprints behind as her feet crunched into the powdery snow. Chatter and giggles from near-by children at play fluttered into the young woman’s ears, causing a small smile to spread across her dainty face. This was it. This was her winter wonderland at last.
How does one describe a winter wonderland? Well, to put it shortly, you need to take into consideration about every detail in winter and spread a positive spotlight on it so that people perceive it as a true winter wonderland. Try staying away from words that hold a negative connotation. Generally words such as numbing, frigid, bleak, bitter, etc. hold a negative connotation. For those of you who aren’t aware of what positive and negative connotations mean—a brief definition is that it refers to a meaning that is implied of a word or expression in addition to its actual definition. So words such as wintry, crisp, cool, chill, etc. generally hold a positive connotation.
Now, moving on from the connotations, you should also be sure not to spare any detail! Now I mean this within reason of course. Anything from snowflakes, to the footprints being left behind. Don’t be afraid to use a little creativity! Use your senses. What do you smell? Do you smell a nearby crackling fire? Do you taste the watery snowflakes as you catch them on your tongue? Or perhaps you hear the sound of a dog barking as he tries running through the piles of snow and his owners laughing at the sight. Just think a little! This is your world, your winter wonderland.

Tips from Mikasa
A winter wonderland, a magical place where kids and grown ups alike can have fun in the snow. Where snowballs, snowmen, and snow forts reign supreme, and school is closed for the day.
If you live in a tropical climate like me, you probably have never even seen nor touched snow. But don’t worry! Using my knowledge of snow (and reading/watching winter things) I will help you make a winter wonderland!
For a winter wonderland setting, you want to, basically, fill the whole setting with snow— if it’s outdoors. You also want to describe how much snow there is (if it’s covering doorways or if it’s only covering the grass). Add how the characters feel about the winter wonderland and what activities they will partake in throughout the day. Here’s a little example to better explain uwu
The day began like any other during winter, the sun barely up when the boy had awoken. His alarm clock had awoken him, which was surprising, seeing as him mom always took it upon herself to enter his room and wake him up ahead of time— which usually saved him from arriving late to school. With a yawn, the brunet stood up from his bed and went downstairs, finding his parents sitting in the dining table still in their pjs. “Why aren’t you guys getting ready for work?,” he asked, rubbing his sleepy eyes with his knuckles. “Look outside and see,” was the only thing his mother said, gesturing towards the nearby window. Following his mother’s advice, Eren strode towards the window, glancing out and iring the wondrous sight: a snow day. Snow filled every nook and cranny, leaving no space left ‘unsnowed’. Snapping out of the wonderland, the brunet dashes upstairs, put on his snow clothes, and jumped right into the cold.

Tips from Levi
Hey, this is Eren so this is going to be the first post I do so here I go. In this paragraph I would be telling you what to do when describing a winter wonderland. So first what you should do is to describe how it is outside. If you’re a literate or semi-lit roleplayer then you should know what I’m talking about, use adjectives like: Cold, windy, majestic and ETC. Also, I want you to be as creative you can when describing your winter wonderland, so please do be creative. If you’re a script rolerplayer which means you use asterisks or dashes when doing your actions, I would recommend you to change into the semi-lit format but if you don’t want to that’s fine, but be sure to use a few adjectives. to use adjectives and be as creative when describing your winter wonderland.
Next I would go into full detail on how to describe a winter wonderland. First let’s start off with snow, snow can be described as: Fluffy, cold, wet and hard when you freeze it. Talk about how the snow feels, when you roleplay you have to step into the character you’re playing shoes so talk about how they’re feeling even from the littlest detail. A winter wonderland isn’t just snow, it’s about how majestic it looks. So you should describe icicles too, they are: slippery, cold, hard and ETC.
So I’ll be providing a example with a random character I made...
Zack was wearing a black jacket with gloves, he was wearing a pure white scarf that covered the lower part of his face. He didn’t want to be decked out in gear and he hated wearing snow pants so he wore sweatpants instead. He was walking in the pure white, soft snow, every time he stepped on the snow it made a satisfying crunching sound. Zack looked around as there was icicles on the leafless trees. The snow was resting on the branches, kids were playing in the snow and seeing how happy they were made Zack smile. He walked up to the tree, iring it. He grabbed a icicle and pulled it off the tree, automatically he felt its cold, hardened state. The icicle started to melt in his hand as it soon turned into cold water. Zack looked up and ired the wooden tree with fluffy snow. The snow looked so perfect it can by as something in a cartoon. Everyone was enjoying theirselves and so was Zack, he never liked playing in the snow but he really liked the winter season.
