Hadoka is excellent father, courageous warrior, and smart. Hadoka may smaller role in show and it makes huge impact. You can feel how much both Katara and Sokka miss there Dad. How much of a relief it is to see him again. Even when he gone his family is his heart. Cartoon need more Dads like Hadoka. That alone makes worthy being on the list.

4. Toph/Aang

So Toph is awesome. She may be blind but that not gonna stop her from living life to the fullest. She regularly fights in earthbendering competition which she champ. Invented metalbending, started all mentalbending police force. There nothing she can’t do if she sets her mind too. So that in my book is what make a great character. All hail, melonlord!

Aang is the Avatar and he great Avatar. He smart,resourceful and kindhearted. He did a lot ended the hundred war help create Republic City. Aang is just sweet loveable kid at first who matured into a wise and loving Avatar. He feels a real person and he acts like a real person would. All characters on Avatar do but Aang as main character this easy connect to.

3.Zuko/Azula

Zuko is hard not to love. He so adorable, when he’s trying his best to be his best person. That what makes him relatable as character he really struggles just like real people do. He is brave, caring, and determined. His backstory and relationships with family are complicated. Wanted nothing more than be in good graces of his Father and have his honor he willing to due impossibile to do so. Watching him grow and change is just the best thing ever.

So I had to put Azula on list so she shares with her brother.Azula is way scarier than her father and way more tragic. At fourteen she was already a genius firebender,brilliant traction, and master intimidation. She truly believe it her right to rule and no one better defy her. So her down is so sad and tragic especially after she been defeated by Katara that scene where she helpless wildly bends fire from her mouth is just so sad watch as she almost seems like a trapped animal.

2.Iroh

Iroh is pure amazemenness is person. He just everyone needs and is the heart of show. He incredibly wise, caring and loving. Without him Avatar would be as good a show,Zuko’s arc would be incomplete, and the war may not stopped. Iroh is so cool even afterlife he still provides expert advice to Korra. Everyone needs an Iroh for them in real life because without him it’s easy to become complacent.

Honorable Mentions

1.Katara

This is may list so to me my favorite character is Katara. She is so cool, despite standing out for being the only waterbender she works hard for her family. She the reason Aang free at all. She is motherly, loving and brave. Willing to stand up for anyone in need even those who would be her enemy. She does her best to keep the group together and help out anyway she can. A master waterbendering who inspired others like Master Paku is changes his way. Katara is and always we’ll be my favorite Avatar character.
