Hello and welcome!

Today I just wanted to show some baking I've been doing recently!

I've had some time on my hands and decided to pick up some new hobbies, so I started baking in January and this is what I've managed! My pictures aren't great but enjoy!

These aren't the most exciting looking things but they taste so good! I never add cherries on top because no one in my family likes them. They are also a pain to make but so worth it.

My favourite cake! I am obsessed with lemon flavoured things so I kind of went overboard with the flavour but I think it worked well. I'm still working on the presentation.

I actually hate chocolate orange but those who tried these said they tasted good so I will take that! This was my first time piping and it was terrifying but I don't think they look too bad.

I know I'm biased but these tasted so so good. The shapes are all over the place I know but not a bad first attempt at making bread if I do say so myself.

I had left over lemons from the cake and ingredients from the iced fingers, so I combined them and made these odd shaped things. My family is asking when I am making them again so I will take that as a success.

I've been making cookies for a while but I was asked to try them with mini eggs and I delivered. I don't know if everyone has them but incase you don't, mini eggs are chocolate covered in a thin candy shell. They were an absolute nightmare to chop up.

A classic. I made these for an event without a practice run (bad idea really) but actually they turned out super well and went really fast. I cut the hearts myself and I won't stop telling people that, I'm very proud.

Of course, it had to be done. The shape of the sponge is odd but I'm working on that. I have set myself up though as I am now the family birthday cake maker.
