First week of August

The #instaearthy challenge played perfectly into my mood. :fallen_leaf:

My head is still floating somewhere between San Diego and Phoenix, although my road trip was in May.

I wanted to have the Monument Valley mountains somewhere, so I have spent HOURS on internet looking for a Washi with Arizona mountains. I didn't find any.

Then I came up with this. I looked up images of the mountains and drew them as if they were Washi Tape, whichh I still can't believe it doesn't exist.

It frustrated me that I couldn't find my watercolor pencils, but I think it turned out well.

I combined my drawing with the sky & clouds washi and cut outs of cacti from Washi Tape.

The quote by Mark Twain greeted me on the counter of the nail salon I'd visited earlier this week. What a beautiful thought!

While I am still figuring out what to do with my weeklies, I just drew this one out - a girl's gotta plan...

I still like the blank space for spontaneous lists that I usually need. It will fill up -... If I use the spread.

If someone knows of a Washi with this pattern, pls let me know... :purple_heart:
