Can you believe it? October is among us! Where did the time go??
This month I decided to go the minimal route. I am partiating in inktober this year and I didn't want to expel my energy on too complicated and colorful themes like I did the past few months.
Even though I went minimal, I still wanted to incorporate a Halloween type theme. i went with Sugar Skulls!

I was inspired by some Halloween decorations I saw at Target and thought it would be fun to do sugar skulls/Dia de Los Muertos as a theme. I was also inspired by This sketch I found a while back on pinterest. I loved that aesthetic and wanted to make a spread similar.

I decorated each spread with a sugar skull and flowers similar to the flowers are drew back in May.

Since I am well into my new journal, I went back to adding my trackers. I kept my usual trackers - habits and expenses. I decided to add my inktober prompts as a filler.

The font if you were curious is called Geometrica Sans. I wanted to keep the writing simple since I made the drawings detailed.
I will be posting more of my weekly spreads at my instagram if you wanted to check them out @JoyandLifeBlog!
Happy Journaling!
