(oh so subtly slipping out these last few days here that I didn't catch up on, don't mind me)

A slight departure from yesterday's style but I think it follows

K so, I took that whole line from lovely (waddabop) and combined it with the idea of wearing a mask in public to hide your true self/feelings BUT in this case, this girl was the only one in the world with a mask and it was forced on her. Like she's been locked in a prison cell of her own face/voice for her entire life and now all she can do is scream to try and get someone to hear her but the mask translates that into angry, harsh words that push everyone away.

The perspective is to show tyler hearing what she's actually saying, he's somehow able to see behind her prison of a mask.

I was going to do a little bit of a different arrangement so you could see tyler was actually seeing behind the mask instead of us as the audience doing that bit BUT THEN I drew a giant fly and there was really no turning back.
