PSA: Amino app removed from Apple store

Hello coffee lovers! It’s Barista Bae here with a quick PSA and a mini tutorial provided by this amazing :star2: & an alternative solution for the time being.

As of today, it seems that the Amino App has been pulled from Apple stores, which means that if you are an iOS you will not be able to update or re Amino directly from the App Store. At the moment the actual reason for this is unknown but we can suspects that it could be the same reason to why Tumblr was removed last year. Due to it containing 18+ content, we all know amino has had a bad past with this type of content and struggles with it till present day.

Please refrain from making unnecessary panic inducing posts and let’s wait for team amino to make an official statement before any assumptions going flying around. Any posts like that will be disabled until we get OFFICIAL CONTEXT FROM TEAM AMINO.

Now if you’re a iOs or a friend of an iOS here’s how you get it back:

1) First go to the App Store and tap on your profile it’ll look like this:

2) Then you’ll be taken to this screen

Click on purchased.

3) Search Amino in the search bar and you’ll find it either in not on my iPhone or All.

Alternative solution

Thankfully, even though the sole Amino app has been removed, most aminos standalone apps standing strong! If you ever happen to delete Amino by accident, although you can’t get back all of your Aminos, you’ll be able to access some of them this way. Additionally, you can also use the website, aminoapps.programascracks.com to chat and post blogs if you have already deleted Amino.
