Giant of Kadahar

Kandahar, Afghanistan

2002...

A U.S. patrol went missing in a very remote area, and because of this, the military sent another patrol to go search for them. They encountered a mountain with a cave, with many strange rocks and bones around the area. They even managed to find some of the communication equipment from the previous squad, which made them all alert. And then they saw something that had them all stunned...

A giant, about 12ft to 15ft tall, came out of the cave. This giant had red, long hair, and appeared to be male. It had 6 fingers on each hand, and 6 toes on each foot. In those hands, it carried a massive spear that it used to kill one of the soldiers named “Dan”. After a 30 second long battle, the troops managed to kill the giant. Not too long after, helicopters started coming in. One of them dropped a net upon the slayed giant. Then another bigger helicopter came and dropped a hook, then carried the giant off.

Whatever happened to the body of the giant, remains unknown. Soldiers far and wide then began hearing rumors of a squad that had killed a very tall person. Others didn’t think much at first, until they heard that this person was about 3 times the size of a man. And it wasn’t just common folk spreading these rumors. It was the military itself.

Now the soldiers were outraged when they were told to rewrite their report. They were essentially being told to cover the whole thing up. And there is proof of their attempts. The military stated that they have no records of such an incident happening. They also stated that the soldier named “Dan” wasn’t present during the incident. The only Dan that died that year, was during an accident while trying to clear some explosives. But there are some people who believe strongly in the existence of giants.

The natives of the area always told stories of this giant that lived in the mountains. Local troops referred to these stories as legends. And then this incident happened. A soldier once was in a conversation with a said native (A tribesman if I correctly). This native ended the conversation with a rather terrifying a prophecy. The giants were at one point, swallowed by the earth, and soon, they would return. This implies that there are more of them, and they will come back “soon”.
