Hello! Welcome to the first ever prompt of the week here on MCA!!

The prompt for this week is!

For this challenge, there are three ways you can complete this prompt! Please continue reading this post to fully understand how you can participate!

• Art.

• Edit.

• Written story.

Artwork

For artwork, you will need to draw something related to the prompt, said thing can be a magical character performing a magic trick (example: Zatanna, Doctor Strange, Witch Hazel, Etc.), a character in a magical place (example: a comic character in Hogwarts) or a comic character who normally wouldn't be able to do magic suddenly being able to (example: Robin, Leonardo, Captain America, Etc.) You can even include an oc of yours as long as you pair them with a canon comic character and it relates to the prompt.

PROOF SHOTS ARE REQUIRED!

We accept:

-Layer shots. (layers must show separate parts of the content you have posted)

-Point of view shots.

-Progress shots. (We would recommend three if you have too many for two screenshots)

-WIP (work in progress) images.

Hand image (a picture of your hand on top of your content would be just fine)

We do not accept:

-Completed content without proof.

-Content without watermark or initials.

-Plagiarized Content. (This can get the blog author in trouble)

-Content without explanation. (It doesn't have to be super long, we just need 4 lines)

Written Story

For written stories, you will need to write a flash fiction story. Flash fiction is a story that would be under 1,500 words, it would usually be under 1,000. The Source of my explanation of Flash fiction.

you will need to write that has 300 - 500 words that relates to the prompt, said thing can be a crossover story involving magic (has to be referenced more than once) including comic characters, a story involving a magical character (Zatanna, Doctor Strange, Witch Hazel, Etc.) or a story involving a magical place (Hogwarts, Narnia, Etc.) You can include your oc as well as long as a canon comic character is in your work.

Additionally, it would be helpful if you give at least a small explanation of how your content came to be. No matter which one you decide to choose.

(for written stories, your explanation MUST be in the post's comment section, this is so it will not be confused as a part of the story.)

Rules___

• Must follow the [guidelines]. If you are not following the guidelines, consequences will be dealt.

• Must be on topic. If not your post will be hidden.

• Must be in a BLOG FORMAT. otherwise you will need to transfer your content into a blog format.

• Must include the hashtag #WeeklyPrompt. This can be either at the top of your post or at the bottom, I wouldn't recommend in the middle as to allow us to focus on your content.

• Must have an interesting cover picture. Your content could be shown on the feature page so you will need an interesting cover.

• Must be original. We will not accept plagiarism at all, read the community guidelines as well as this blog to know what would happen.

• Must have watermark. This is mostly if you have decided to make an edit or an artwork, it can be initials (example: A .C. YT) or even your name in this community. (For digital: MUST be on a layer. For traditional: MUST be on the same paper or a different one on top of your artwork)
