I've been wanting to try to set up a D&D night time cycle since one of the players is now a werewolf. I'm not sure how I should set this up any suggestions.

Days and nights should be an hour IRL.
If the problem is the time system, I'd just recommend using a normal system, except with shorter months and more hours
Hrm maybe make the werewolf player tired during day and getting active starting at dusk. Not wanting to get up and fuction after dawn. Perhaps causing a shift for all to find a happy medium?
Ok that sounds like that could work.

Let me know if it works well. Going to be running a campaign soon that will have players running into werewolf types. Depending on the actions they take, they could end up aiding the werewolf.

Will do.
Turn based maybe, not sure how, but long rests would be about 8-12 hours
